Worst experience. Employees are rude and and are not good at coloring hair. They will leave you with another color. Don't recommend. Save your $250 go else where please.

Every time I spend the time to feel pretty, I schedule a time to do my hair. Sarajon is my stylist. She is such a beautiful person and knows how to fix my hair every time I damage it. I have a rare disorder, I ripe my hair out one hair at a time...it's called Trichotillomania (google it). I sometimes just sit in her chair and cry, sometimes I sit in her chair and boast about my 3 week record of not ripping my hair out. She always makes me walk out feeling confident!! She hides the damage every time we all go through pain and have our stories right? Well, she makes my issues better when I leave. This salon is full of a very beautiful staff. All different, beautiful, talented, and hard working woman that go out of their way to make you feel not alone

After reading other poor reviews about Encore, I wanted to share that I had a similar experience. A couple years ago I went to them to dye my hair back to brown as I had box dyed it and it had faded. After 4 hours, my hair was dyed STRAIGHT black. My hairdresser apologized, said the colors didn't turn out, and said she'd reschedule me for the next morning to try again. How do you accidently dye someone's hair straight black? I came back the next morning, and it took my hairdresser almost 8 hours to get my hair to look somewhat brown. I felt as though I was being worked on by someone in the middle of beauty school, completely unsure of what they were doing and I was the test subject. By the end of the day, my hair was so dry from being redyed over and over again, and no discounts or anything were given despite it being nearly two days of them messing up over and over again. From the other reviews, I can concur this place hires amateurs and if you want to roll the dice on your hair ending up completely being a disaster, this is the place for you.

The salon is very cute and welcoming from the get go. They are doing a great job following COVID-19 protocols which I had liked a lot. So, my overall first impression of the salon itself was great. But, the stylist was running behind, I waited 15 minutes before I was allowed to come in the salon. Hair dye from doing my shadow roots, had ended up on my cloth mask, my shirt, my face and as well had went into my eye. She don't acknowledge each time that the dye had ended up on my face nor the one time it went into my eye. I had to wipe the dye away a few times myself using my hands. So, I had stained hands as well. Eventually, she noticed the dye was staining my face, and started trying to clean up her mess (but only spent a few seconds trying). It was clear there was still splotches of dye all over my face at the end of the appointment. I had been in her chair for almost 6 hours and I don't recall a time it has even taken this long to do a bayalage on my hair. I realize I do have a lot of hair and there was a few processes needed - however, this is a service I've had done before and was completed within 4 hours. Then, she asked to cut my appt short as she has a second job to go to. So, my haircut wasn't done and didn't get styled. I still paid for those services regardless of them not being completed as she charged for those services. She tried to make it right and asked if I could come in another morning to get my haircut completed and styled. Then cancelled the appointment the morning of the rescheduled appointment. Then she asked to reschedule. As my initial experience already hadn't been great, I didn't really want to come back a second time, let alone have to rearrange my schedule again a third time. I do appreciate her attempts of trying to make things right as not a lot of stylists will do that. However, I paid $250 plus the deposit, for an hair appointment that did not get completed. She should have not charged me for the haircut/hairstyle to begin with as that service was not yet provided, and scheduled me to come back another day for the haircut/style. Which then, I'll pay for those services after the appointment like any other service. I also don't like leaving bad reviews for a stylist providing services as I know they all are on their feet all day, and serving clients. It's not a easy job! The stylist providing the service was nice and the results of my hair color is beautiful. I feel like I would have enjoyed the appointment if we didn't have issues with the dye ending up everywhere, the appointment being cut short, and if she had been more efficient with applying color. However, I will not be back.

It's hard to find someone who knows curly hair. I stopped going to salons after many failed visits. I was referred to Beth, and I am so happy with her services. I've had two colors and a cut with her, and each time has exceeded my expectations. My last color, I wasn't sure which way to go. I gave her an idea and she nailed it. I highly recommend this salon. Staff is very friendly and the decor is super cute. Encore is a little slice of heaven.
