B4 Salon in Richland, WA

A bit small, but they're moving to their own building in the next few months! Had a good time and I got exactly what I asked for - shorter and soft. She knew just how to tame my thick hair so it doesn't lay funny. Will definitely be back!

I just moved here from Portland and had received a really horrible cut and color at a local salon. I was very nervous about finding a new stylist because of the pervious experience. First, I want to say the salon is intimate and cozy. The way the women and stylist interacted with each other was like getting your hair done at your friends house Secondly, I have incredibly sensitive skin and the products they use smell like heaven AND they didn't affect my scalp at all. No tingle no burn no rash m Third, I always get a lip and eyebrow wax when I get a cut and color. I have rosacae so waxing my lip and eyebrow will leave me red and bumpy for at least 2 days. The product they use for waxing wasn't hot and it left no redness or bumps. I couldnt believe it. If I hadn't seen the actual hair she ripped out my skin had no show of a waxing. It's amazing. And the cooling product genuinely made my skin feel better. Lastly, my cut and color. I tend to pull really brassy and I don't like stripey looking highlights. My stylist Krystal Weston nailed my color. Normally I have some small issue with my color but it was FABULOUS. My husband of 7 years said it's the best he's ever seen my hair look. The products smell amazing so o didn't have that weird burnt hair smell. Krystal also fixed my screwed up haircut without having to take a bunch of length. She obviously knew how to deal with my hair type. When I left, there was no high pressure guilt trip to buy any new product. I can not say enough about how amazing Krystal is with hair and color.

Do women seriously pay $150 for a cut and color at this salon and in the Richland-Tri-Cities area? Even if I could afford that kind of high service, I am not sure I would. This place sounds like a tranquil-heavenly-godsend, but the price keeps me grounded in reality. The search continues for an affordable, professional salon in which I could build a relationship with my stylist so that I can actually afford to maintain my haircut every 6 weeks.

Maria!!! I just met a girl named Maria! Being a hair stylist myself, I am super dooper picky about my hair. I am one of those really obnoxious clients who basically gives step by step instructions on how to do my hair. There was no need to do that when I went and saw Maria. The first time I went to see her I had been dying my hair red for about 5 months. I wanted to go back to that bomb shell blonde. My boss at the time had great hair. The color always looks vibrant and the cut always suited her face. I got the number and made the appointment. I got there a little early and being the first appointment of the day, the cute little shop was closed. I waited out in the hall for someone to arrive. Kristen was the first one there. All smiley and bubbly, she invited me in and offered me coffee and tea. Maria arrived a few minutes later. She took a look at my hair and came up with a game plan. Blonde to red is not an easy task. I knew 2 things: 1) it was going to be a long day in that chair. 2) my hair was going to be fried when the day was over. It did take a long time ( about 3 hours plus a trip back for the cut ) but Maria did an amazing job keeping my hair as healthy as possible. And the cut was exactly what I wanted.

I recently had a hair appointment with Maria Borisch for a wedding style. I had never seen her before or met her. I wasn't sure what I wanted and just told her she had complete creative control. The result...was AMAZING!!! I received so many compliments on my hair for the night & the bride was pleased! I have very hard to work with hair, fine, thin & doesn't hold a curl. My hair looked great for 2 days! Needless to say I was extremely impressed by her professionalism, creativity and talent. If I wasn't from out of town I would see her on a regular basis. I highly recommend this Salon & Maria!!
