Perfect Look Hair Salon in Richland, WA

I had used Walmart hair dye for a long time and was ready for a complete change. My husband knew I needed to get it done so Bettie and Scott took a look at my hair and discussed what they were going to do to get it fixed. It took them a moment but they came together as a great team and completely re-did my hair. I am extremely grateful for Bettie and Scott and how I was treated along with my family as this process took 5 hours to complete that day. It was something I had never been through before and would absolutely recommend anyone to go there! Thank you both so much!

I booked an appointment to get highlights in my hair--only. Without asking me, he used the maximum amount of foils and my hair looks like it was completely bleached instead of highlighted. After he washed the dye out, he asked if I wanted it styled. I said no. but I didn't want to walk outside in freezing cold weather with wet hair so I asked him to just blow it dry. Later, I discovered he charged me an extra $27 for styling.

I had an appointment with Scott today for full highlights and cut. He did an amazing job! Scott is great at what he does and was fun to talk to while he was dying my hair. He told me about the products he was using and I could buy. He cut my husband's hair the day before and he looks really good. I am new to the area and finding a good stylist is important to me! We will definitely be back!

I called to see about getting an appointment for two children. The manager Scott, answered the phone. When I said I would like to get a time slot for the children he replied with a huff and clearly irritated "oh my god... well... what's the first one?" I was so appalled at this apparently "family salon" being so rude about doing children's hair cuts. I couldn't imagine how the kids would have been treated if we were a walk-in. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere. I would absolutely avoid this place if you are looking for anyone that gives a darn about the clients.

I was rushed one morning and didn't have time to style my hair after my shower. I had to get groceries and the Perfect Look salon was right down from the grocery store. I went in to see about getting my hair styled - No cut. No wash/dry. Just styled. The man took my name and typed it into the computer and said it would be about an hour. Okay. Good. I grocery shopped. Was running late. Asked my husband to tell them I'd be there. He went in and told the guy at the desk and he said they didn't have me down at all! So, he gave them my name. Again. Okay. It's the Christmas season, they were busy. No problem. When I went in, I gave the young girl behind the counter my name. She didn't find it. Apparently, the guy misheard my husband and put in a different name. Got that straightened out. Then, the girl said, "You want a cut, right?" I said, "No. Just styled." I'm telling you, she looked at me like I had just sprouted another head. She said, "What do you mean?" I said, "What don't you understand?" She looked at the guy and then back at me. I said, "I just need it curled, maybe back combed a little. You know STYLED. I didn't have time to fix it after my shower this morning." She looked at the guy again and said, "I don't know how to back comb. You do, don't you?" He said, "Not that well.. Maybe xxxx does, we'll ask her." At that point, I had lost all confidence in having a good experience there. I just said, "You know what, let's just forget it." Do these kids graduate from Beauty School and not even know what 'styling' someone's hair means??? And I thought they still taught hair teasing, or back combing as it's referred to now. Wow. smh
