Super Nails in Wheaton, MD

I really like this salon. I think they take their time compared to other rush jobs I've gotten. Because of this, you may have to wait a bit without an appointment. But I'm okay with that. They should probably hire more people, if possible, though because I only ever see 2 ladies working. But those two ladies are so so nice! I love visiting them. The only other downside is that it's in a kind of shady shopping center. They keep the door locked in the evenings to avoid wanderers. But, I've never felt unsafe in the store itself. Looks like most reviews are super old. I'd recommend giving this place a chance if you're in the market for a good, affordable pedicure.

Gel manicure for $20 Mood gel nails for $25 Acrylic Nails for $35 Yes, these prices sound way too good to be true. Because they are! I used to come here often because I lived across the street. And it was mainly convenient. The only person I liked is Julie. She does an excellent job. But everyone else isn't very good. The biggest issue here is hygiene. They are NOT clean. After going so often and seeing the level of cleanliness - I had to stop. It's bad. I witnessed a lot of people get infections from the service. Parking can be a pain in the front, so there is additional metered parking in the rear.

Unimpressed with this shop. My pedicure was good, but the technician completely cut my entire cuticle and lift side of my right big toe; blood everywhere. I will not be back ridiculous.

They did a fucking terrible job on my nails yesterday!! I went in at 8, they close at 9. The lady spent 40 minutes filing my nails and gave me four coats of polish. At 9, the nail tech left and my nails were still insanely wet. I was then told to leave because the manager needed to pick up her son. I told her my nails were still wet and she didn't care. I picked up my stuff and rightfully so, messed my nails up. I asked her to take the polish off and I left. Came back today and she gave me the same sob story about picking up her son. They literally kicked me out with wet nails And today makes it seem like it was my fault because I didn't get gel polish! And tried to shame me for not having kids and understanding. Look: no one cares about your personal life, do my nails and make sure they're dry before you lick someone out of the shop. I didn't get gel because I DIDNT WANT IT! It lasts too long and I don't have the option to take it off myself and change my color at home. I'm going back to get them fixed but I will be tipping in fucking dimes!!!
