I have curly hair and let me just say my experience was just kind of... Meh. Now don't get me wrong I don't walk into a chain salon expecting anything spectacular, but I just wish hair stylists were more educated on curly hair and how to go about styling it. The staff was friendly as usual, didn't try to upsell me on everything they used, and it was a fairly quick process, I was in and out quite quickly, but I do regret paying for the style, because I walked out looking like my hair didn't get styled at all. However, the products they used in washing my hair left my hair very soft, smelling amazing. The cut, however, wasn't very good. I asked for layers and I walked out with the traditional triangle cut that anybody else that doesn't know what they're doing would give you.. I'll give them bonus points for trying as they used mousse and even diffused my hair (never had a salon I've been to do that yet), but in the end it's rather pointless if they don't know what they're doing, I'd rather them be honest and tell me that they don't know how to work it but no harm done. If you have straight hair or are looking to get your hair straightened at the end, there's no harm coming to this salon to get your hair done but if you enjoy to wear your hair curly or wavy, spend the extra bit of money and go to a non-chain salon.

This is great when you want an inexpensive or simple haircut, particularly if you are a man. You can be in and out in less than 20 mins. Absolutely no complaints with the man's cut, everything was speedy and just what he asked for. I am not particularly adventurous when it comes to my own hair yet I am not afraid of trying something new, or resorting to low cost or home made options. I know that for many ladies getting your hair cut at "Walmart" may be frowned upon but, I believe like any place, the experience depends on the person serving you not so much the location. The young lady who worked on me was able to provide what I wanted based off some pictures I had. I was looking for a simple shoulder lenght bob, styled with some beachy waves. I opted for the wash/cut/style package which came up to around $35 which is very reasonable. The only difference I noticed compared to higher end salons was that during my hair wash and cut, the hairdresser never really asked how I felt throughout or stopped to make me look if whatever she was doing was ok. Perhaps the difference with fancier salons is that whoever is washing your hair will take to time to ask you if the water temperature is ok, or wrap your neck with a towel to make sure you don't get wet, however this was not offered to me. During the cut, I was told only once to bend my head and the stylist never tried to reposition it, so I assume I straightened myself out afterwards but it can be a little concerning if you want to make sure everything is even. I would hope that if my neck was crooked or too forward, she would have noticed. In terms of styling, I felt like it took a very long time to blow dry my hair and the "waves" I wanted were full on curls, but luckily these loosened throughout the day and provided the end result I wanted. The final hair cut and style ended up being great and just what I asked for so that's what counts, but along the way, attention to detail and small gestures to deliver the best possible experience were lacking. These were simple things like taking a mirror and showing the back of your head, or explaining how to style this at home and what products are used...none of this happened. The overall staff is friendly, the location and pricing couldn't be more convenient, I just can't know for sure if the added details and service I was hoping vary from one employee to another, or if they are lacking because this is an "express" and low-cost service. Bottom line, come here if you aren't fussy and don't be afraid to speak up if you need anything extra.

Went in for a man's haircut. The lady told me that it would be 20-25 mins. Waited an hour and 5 mins and was not seen. I was passed up twice (may have had an appointment but I doubt it). Sadly nothing but a waste of time. Will not be back.
