NY Nails & Spa in Plattsburgh, NY

Really bad experience! I was overcharged $50 per the anc or powder. Not satisfied with the work. I ended up with a very scratchy nails. Not good and super expensive. Will not come back. My nails were a mess and bumpy.

I just had the worst retail / service experience ever. I left half way through getting acrylics. The manicurist brushed on the acrylic very think snd then did not want to shape the nails in a rounded manner. She got upset with me when I told her they were not right. Her husband then came over and spoke sternly to her, which did not help. I got up and offered to pay for what was already done. He wouldn't take any money and insisted I stay. He was worried I would go to another salon and show them/ complain about their work - he actually said this. When I left I saw him at the window of the shop taking a picture of my car. I walked back in and suggested we call the police. He declined and deleted the picture when I insisted. So now I'm sitting at home with misshaped nails that have separated from the nail bed. Who knows when I'll have time to get this fixed. Take this as a cautionary tale and avoid this place. No longer a mystery why the place was empty when I walked in at 4:00.

I don't know why there's so many bad reviews. The 2 people working were very kind and the lady who did my acrylics was super sweet and took her time my nails turned out beautiful. Very clean and modern not over priced definitely recommend and will be going back.

I go here for gel manicures regularly. Every time I go the couple who run the salon are always friendly and the salon is very clean. The prices are great and the polish lasts me 3 weeks without chipping. I have also gotten a pedicure here as well and was pleased with the results!

I was in this town for work and really needed a pedicure. I tried another salon which was too busy to squeeze me in so I decided to try this place. I had read the reviews and was worried. This place needs to be given some credit since I did not experience any negatives during my time there! I was taken immediately, no wait. Good color selection. I payed $27 for the regular pedicure; which I thought was a good deal for upstate (I'm from LI). I received 3 different foot scrubbers for adequate time. Quick leg "massage" was given. The male nail tech did a great job and I was able to leave without any smudges or issues. Everyone was polite and i was able to watch the news on the tv. I would definitely return to this nail salon and I would recommend them to anyone.
