Salon Abe is a new spot for me, but that's because I will follow my girl Ashleigh wherever she may go. Ashleigh Leick has been my go-to girl for so many years we can no longer count, maybe close to ten years but neither of us have aged in this time period...obviously. Ashleigh gets me through all of my hair phases, whether it's my dark and twisty redhead year, classic blonde, short and sassy or long and lovely- Ashleigh does it all for me. Ashleigh is the farthest thing from a basic woman, she's got a zest for life, fabulous tattoos and encourages me to show my wild side via perfect hairstyles. I'll admit I've got a lot of identity wrapped up in my hair. My hair is one of my top favorite features about myself, so I appreciate someone who does it how I like and supports a little adventure for it. I'm all about my business lady style by day and a sassy funny girl by night, but also a mama, with a wild child bursting inside at all times. Ashleigh knows how to balance all those elements for the look of my hair, not an easy task and many have failed before her. Salon Abe has a modern vintage vibe. The paneling on the wall, greenery and black and gold features create a sassy urban vibe. This is not an overpacked and loud salon where you're just another basic B at the trough of beauty products. Give this place a shot, and support my girl Ashleigh. Although, if y'all come rushing to her and I can't get an appointment I'll regret shouting from the mountain tops about my secret hair weapon. Be cool but not basic and get your hairs did at Salon Abe with Ashleigh!
I would give SALONabe all of the stars if I could! Megan is such a talented stylist, from cutting to coloring and everything in between. And she makes you feel so comfortable immediately. I'd characterize her as a very warm person overall and a rockstar when it comes to hair. She even does my husband's eyebrows (he's a lovely man but he has a little bit of the Groucho Marx thing going on there). Megan is a stylish woman of many talents, and I would recommend SALONabe to people of all ages, both men and women.
SALONabe is a great place to go if you're looking for a new salon. I went there when I first moved to the NE area and was not disappointed. Reese is easy to talk to and super friendly. I love the way she styled my hair!
