The salon is a convenient location and I was looking for some one new as my former stylist was far away. I booked an appointment with Maragret for a cut and color. The salon is cut and not pretentious which I loved. But that's where it stopped. My first time in I thought I would explain what I like and don't like and was open to suggestions but didn't have any and was like why change it. I said I wanted her perspective and see what she thought and said I should just keep it the same. The color was decent but not impressed with the cut. I tried chatting with her but responded I'm focusing and don't like talking when I'm coloring. It was super awkward and felt very uncomfortable. Not impressed and will not be back.

Went for color, cut and deep conditioning with the stylist named Meg. The worst service anyone can provide. For color I told her mine is not black but brownish black color and do the same thing. She said yea she has mixed two colors and when I can finally see the color after wash and dry it's black ; I mean seriously .. then moving on to washing part the lady did shampoo only once after color leaving my forehead near hairs looking black and yes when I came back home I again had to do head wash because the color was not washed properly. For haircut I told trim with layers but no I can't see any layers at the back they look same height only except some strands in front. You are charging 150+ dollar for horrible service.. not worth spending time and money over here.

I have been buying product from Salon Junello for over 5 years, I typically go about 5 times a month. I called them this morning to see if they accept Aveda gift cards and the woman who answered said 'yes'. I drove all the way there and picked out my product. Then the same woman told me they don't accept gift cards, and was super snotty about it. Waste of my time! I'll be buying my product elsewhere.

My recent customer service experience: a comedy of errors. Before attending their annual December 2019 Open House, I called to reserve an Aveda product for purchase when I arrived for their open house event and was told it'd be waiting there for me when I arrived. I was also told the total amount would be $13 + some change. When I arrived, the doors had just opened welcoming customers, and I strolled around looking at all the wares and eating a few treats. When I'd seen enough, I waited in line at the counter to request my product for purchase. Once I did, I waited, and waited, and waited for the staff member to return to me and then she informed me that the item was 'on back order', and they did not know when the item would arrive in store. She asked whether I wanted to 'pre-pay' for the item and I agreed - I had the cash with me. After ringing up the item, she announced a total amount greater than what I'd been told over the phone - it was a $4+ higher. ?!? I asked if they would send me the item when it did finally arrive in store, given that I'd driven there to buy it that day - it would save me another 20+ mile roundtrip. They agreed. I had to ask for a receipt, and received a hand-written one, signed by the owner/manager, Julie. Mid-January rolled around - no product received - and I was going to be out of town for 10 days. I did not want to take the chance of the item arriving while I was gone and then sitting out on my front porch, freezing, until I arrived home. So I called to ask them to 'hold' the product in store if it arrived while I was out of town; I also said that I would be home on a specific date in later January, and stated that they could then send out the item any time after that - that I would be home to receive it. The employee agreed to my instructions, saying she wrote a detailed note. Early March comes around, and still no arrival of product. I called the salon and learned that the item was there. There was no good answer to why the product had not been mailed out to me, and no answer about when, exactly, the product had arrived in store. It was agreed that the product would be sent out to me immediately. I asked to speak with the shop owner/manager, Julie, who apparently, wouldn't be in until Monday. Update: Item arrived 2 days after my call. Julie returned my call on Monday evening. I described my concerns and disappointment about this experience and suggested this situation could have been averted had the employee who answered my call in the beginning verified that the product was out of stock - that it was on back-order with an 'unknown' re-stock date - instead of telling me that my "product would be waiting for me when I arrived for their Holiday Open House". Julie kept her response positive, cheery, and seemed to want to explain away the production and supply issues by offering the spiel about Aveda being owned by Estee Lauder. It also seemed she wanted to convey an abundance of caution in not sending out the product until I called them, again, to tell them I was back in town - despite the fact I told the employee on the phone the specific date I would be home and they should send me the product anytime after that date. Overall, this feels like a bland, luke-warm and unsatisfying customer service experience.
