Ci Ci Nails in Elkridge, MD

I came in and was told to wait for 10 minuets to what turned into a hour for a couple to come in after me and have them take her boyfriend for a clear coat before my full set. I was waiting way before they walked in for a boy to be seated before me for a clear coat and then after I addressed it was told 5 more minuets. I left with my nails not done and a hour of my time wasted coming all the way from the county. Never again

I like to leave an honest review for the services that I receive, and I have a few rules before I review: 1. I have to have received services at least 3 times 2. I I have to list honest pros AND cons 3. For ever con, I have to list a solution With that being said, today was my third visit to CiCi nails, and I had the pleasure of working with Vicky again for my nails and lashes. Pros: 1. Vicky is sweet, talented, fast, and creative. She's awesome with designs, and her shaping technique is immaculate. Even when she shaped one of my nails a way that I really didn't care for, she was very accommodating and did it over with no problem. She's not mean, nasty, or impatient, and she is also not a push-over. Just a very respectful woman who seems to take pride in her work. 2. The salon is clean. The techs all seem to get along. 3. There is ample parking, and some food nearby, and it isn't hard to get to. Cons: 1. Not really respectful of time. I make appointments because I have things to do. Each time that I have called to make an appointment, I have been given a specific time to be there, and each time I have come into the salon with someone sitting and getting their nails done at my time. Today I spent THREE hours in the salon for a refill, pedicure, and lash refresh. Today, like every other "appointment" someone was in the chair getting her nails done. I wasn't rude about this, but I definitely felt slighted. 2. Pricey. For the time that I had to wait, and the SIMPLE services that I got done today, I paid $135. I got a refill with plain gel polish and no design, a gel pedicure, and got my lashes filled in. I think that I should have been given a discount based on the disregard to my time alone. --But I did pay full price, as I was not dissatisfied with my services. (My nails were however, rushed.) 3. Noisy. When I go to get my manicures and pedicures, I like a peaceful space. Between the constant singing on the television and the loud talking between the techs.... it's not peaceful at all. It was overstimulating, and I just couldn't wait to leave. - I think taking actual appointments, and not just telling people they can come at whatever time they want over the phone without writing things down could help this tremendously. - A little consideration of the clients time, or at least compensation when time is not considered could go a long way. - Please consider that some clients are coming to escape noise of children, work, people talking all day. It would be nice to have a quieter space. So far, I will still remain a customer, but instead of settling in, I am still on the lookout for a solid nail salon with a solid experience.

Great nails. Nice atmosphere. Always kind. They know me and my granddaughter when we come in. Very sweet. Definitely recommend.

Their infection control practices are lacking. She used the same gloves for every thing. There were no disposable lotion containers. They use the same spoon that the used foot water dripped on to put back in the sugar scrub. She put used instruments on the table she used for everything and never cleaned it. I could see the stains from the previous customer. I left without letting her touch my feet

i came here for the first time to get a pedicure for prom...ever since, i try and come back every month, or as often as i can. the service is amazing!
