My nail tech Kate W is one of the best in the area. This time I opted for natural nails but she can do anything to include intricate nail designs.
Finally I have found my Kate! My nails have been missing her! I am so happy. And the icing on the cake, Vy is here with her too! Who is Vy? Only the hostess with the mostest! The nicest, sweetest and prettiest receptionist you will ever meet. Kate and Vy are the Dynamic Duo in the Nail Salon Profession. They always make me feel like a valued customer and member of the Bliss family. The shop is gorgeous. Everything is neat and clean and smells so good. Come visit this time of year to see the beautiful Christmas Ambiance! Christmas Trees, Snow Falling (Oh yes, check out my video) and a beautiful live picture of "Christmas by the Fireplace"! So come and get yourself pampered by the best and enjoy a cup of wine! It's such a VIBE! You will not be disappointed.
Zero stars if I could. Asked for a simple French tip manicure and got this crap instead. Peter did my nails, another nail tech and I personally had to keep correcting the mistakes he was making with my nails. I am quite upset and don't plan on coming back anymore. This is embarrassing and I'm writing this review as I'm heading to another nail salon to take this crap off. You can still see marks of red on my nails from him not properly and thoroughly removing the gel manicure I walked in with. He lacked attention to detail, and after taking forever to do my nails, he just put a hot towel and sent me on my way out. No mini massage and no lotion. He also took off a bit too much skin on my pinky and now it hurts like hell. DO NOT COME HERE!
Nice looking salon; but I hate when it feels like you're being rushed in and out the door. I had a feeling I should've walked out when I was trying to pick a color and the tech was trying to hurry my to the pedicure chair. Then I had to tell her to slow down and not rush through my pedicure; and to correct simple things like polish on the skin. This is not a place I see myself revisiting.
A friend and I went to Bliss in Elkridge for pedicures and gel manicures. Making an appointment was easy and the place was very clean and neat, however we were both unsatisfied with the polish application and cuticle work. There are bubbles in the gel and polish left on our skin. Overall we both felt rushed with both the mani and pedi and my gel manicure came out looking sloppy and unprofessional. My friend's finger was also nicked and her toenails were not trimmed straight, and her skin is sloughing from her ankles. Neither of us will be back unfortunately.
