Darien is by far one of the best hair artists. She is amazing with blonde shades and balayage and she will always point you in the right direction for routined hair care. I just had a cut and gloss from her a few days ago and she never fails to amaze me. I highly recommend Tigerlily!
When I went to the salon in December 2016, I got a nice haircut for $36. This April the hair stylist Christi charged me $70 for the same haircut! I do not know what happened. And the haircut is not good at all and the massage was quite perfunctory as well. Very disappointed.
Christi is the best stylist AND conversationalist. That scalp massage to kick it off? Yes, please. Our conversation was engaging and effortless and as a stylist, she did exactly what I wanted (even though I hardly gave her any direction or pictures as even I didn't know what I really wanted)- she clearly knows best! She was able to make me look like a better version of myself without any drastic changes, which I wholeheartedly appreciated. Really, I don't think I've ever had a more flattering haircut (that even I can style myself at home). The salon is calming and intimate, removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Noho as it's up one level; totally zen looking out across Main Street from above. The salon only accepts tips in cash so come prepared! I will absolutely be returning for cuts and blowouts in the future- so glad to have a reliable salon and rad stylist. Thanks, Christi!
I've been here a few times and have had my hair done by Sheri and Christi. Tigerlily is now my go to for haircuts. I never have to worry if I'm going to get a bad cut. They know how to cut along my hairline and natural cowlicks so the cut will fit me and not be uneven as it starts to grow back. They also helped me out finding the proper shampoo for my hair type. I had been using dollar store shampoo which had actually been damaging my hair. I would definitely recommend getting a haircut here before any kind of job interview or wedding.
Just was not a great haircut for $38. I should have went to a barber shop. I'm sure they do great women's hair and other services but i walked out of the salon looking exactly the same. I'm not sure what hair was actually cut.
