Two days ago I went to Style Nails and Spa for a toenail polish. They assigned me a new hire. First, she put gel polish on instead of regular, and because she didn't realize that, the polish ran. Luckily another technician saw what was happening. So another, more experienced technician offered to redo my nails. The real problem was that the new hire, clearly untrained, was digging out some polish that had run into the side where the skin is. I kept telling her it hurt. Two days later, it's infected and bleeding. I went back today because I thought I should let them know what happened. I told the owner, who then blamed me for messing with the polish. Then he offered to put antiseptic on it for me. Right .... He didn't apologize, rushed me out, and I had to ask for my money back. It was very unsatisfying to be treated so rudely after such an incident, especially since I was trying very hard to be sensitive about the situation. I felt bad for the new woman who was unprepared to do even a nail polish. I won't be returning.
I've been to Style Nails and Spa for two different occasions. My manicures were beautifully done. I found the nail techs were very professional and precise. I highly recommend them.
Mimi did a fantastic job on my pedi! She was friendly and caring, and she did very thorough, gentle work. I found this to be a very professional establishment--and the fact that they had World Cup soccer on TV makes this my new favorite salon.
Used to be my favorite they're over priced and take to long to do my nails or they rush their booked clients cause they have a walk in customer. Hasn't been same since changed owners an im regular customer
