Does anyone out there know where Sheri Roxo is working now that Firefly is closed?

I have been going to Firefly since moving to the area from NYC about three years ago. The atmosphere is relaxed but polished- they have this great antique sofa and run an eclectic playlist ranging from airy French vocalists to 50s harmonies and beyond. The tea they offer is delicious and soothing- I recommend that you not pass on that. I went in the other day for a cut and blow-dry (all I ever go in for), and when booking my appointment I learned that my usual stylist, Sheri, had recently relocated to another Aveda salon in Holyoke. No problem. A good friend of mine used to own an Aveda salon, and I have come to trust Aveda trained stylists. So I booked an appointment with Miel. I arrived, sat down and we started to discuss what I was going for. My hair has always been down to my waist, but last summer in a moment of frustration I went for a Heidi Klum-type bob. Drastic. I loved it for a few months, but now it's been 7 months and I needed a new shape on the way to growing my hair out again. I brought up the possibility of a side bang, and Miel was totally picking up what I was putting down. I picked the beautifying oil for my scalp massage because I am all about the rosemary undertones, and then went to get my hair washed. After I sat back down, we chatted about random things (pretty standard at the salon, no?), and Miel got to business. She was METICULOUS and really took her time. When all was said and done, I walked out with an array of long layers, angles in the front roughly up to the cheekbone, and bangs that were longer than the photos I brought with me, but which ultimately suit my face better than those I had in mind would have. I am more thrilled with Firefly than before (wouldn't have thought I could be- Sheri was wonderful, too) and will be making the trek back, even though I just moved to CT. Absolutely worth it.

Sheri works MAGIC! I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and I really enjoyed my first experience here. I had one of them "OMG where'd you get your hair done?" "OMG your hair looks amazing!" experiences. I was so pleased even my hubby, who hasn't cut his hair in about 3 years, went in here for a clean up. Highly recommend!

I LOVE this Salon. I've been going to Sheri for over a year and she is absolutely fantastic. This past summer, Firefly did the hair and make-up for my entire wedding, including my bridesmaids, my mother and MIL, and a few close family members. Everyone was thrilled with the service and looked absolutely beautiful. We all had a blast in the salon, everyone who was working was charming and lovely, and they even let us bring in campaign. It was a wonderful way to spend the morning of our wedding. Love this place. Would recommend to anyone.
