Amazing!!! I should have sent this review sooner, but I spent the last week gazing lovingly at my fingertips. I've been searching for a new manicurist- long story but my last regular spot was not clean. I've been to a few new places/people recently and got disappointing manis. FINALLY I found Kristy's nails and especially, Danny! I loved everything about my manicure. Usually, when I have a man do my nails (not to be sexist) they're usually too rough. Danny was gentle and methodical. He was careful not to damage my natural nail while removing the old layers of acrylic/polish. His new work is basically flawless. He patched a broken nail perfectly. I was a little undecided about polish color so he suggested trying both colors to help me decide. He went above and beyond. I don't like to be difficult, but he just made it so easy- you can tell he takes great pride in a job well done.
I made an appointment and showed up on time. The owner did my pedicure and then took several other customers while I waited over 30 minutes for my manicure. Finally, I said to her that I've been waiting over 30 minutes and she accused me of being late as the cause of my waiting which I wasn't. Then she did my manicure very quickly and haphazardly. They don't have enough staff, their attitude is poor and the owner tries to squeeze as many people in with no consideration of the people she already has. She ultimately apologized but I'm not returning.
I used to love this place pre-pandemic, but it's clear that it changed owners at some point because it's just not the same. The furniture has been rearranged, half of the lights were out, it's not as clean as it used to be, etc. Most importantly, the quality of the pedicure was just not what it used to be. Lacks attention to detail.
I went here for a gel manicure this morning and the staff were extremely friendly... the nail tech did a wonderful job and was very gentle with my cuticles and nails. I notice a lot of bad reviews are from over 3 years ago, but my current experience was lovely. Great place to go for gel polish!
Very friendly salon. There is no price list for services, and I did ask the cost before deciding to try this salon for the first time. It was a nice experience, and she did a nice job, however, I was quoted one price and charged more than twice the quote. As friendly as they are, I will not return.
