I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a hair salon! They were so patient with me as I had an allergic reaction to hair dye before. Christine did 2 different patch tests on my arm to see which hair dye was right for me! Nicole also helped with my cut and color. She was amazing! They both were!
Ive been losing my hair since age 26,and have always worn a hat, but about 2 yrs ago while attending a meditation a nun embarassed me by saying take off your cap we never wear caps,I never went back!! But my prayers were answered when i saw an article in the Va Womens Health newsletter saying the Va would provide wigs for vets who had hair loss due to medical conditions. I live in Manhattan,and the business they deal witn was way out in Long Island,and Im disabled,no problem they were willing to provided transportation,Bill &. the ladies are great! My wig came last week,its light weight,and stylish.After ive made my debut,ill give you guys a folow up
The company I work for had temporarily relocated me to Rockland County, New York. During that relocation period I had been looking for a good salon to get my hair cut and colored and was having a tough time as I am very selective on how i like my hair done, in addition to choosing the right salon during COVID. I decided to call my regular hair stylist back home in California and she told me to look up a 'GOLDWELL' salon and ask them what protocols they were taken during this pandemic. Out of about 10 or more salons that i called i ended up choosing Rochelle Stephans in New City owned by Christine Viguie I was very impressed with all their safety protocols and her salon was immaculate. The layout at the salon was perfect because I was totally separated from everyone - we were in our own little area. During my appointment Christine continued to tell me she will have ONLY 1-5 stylists tops working at a time and everyone must be separate.She explained that she had to sacrifice volume for health and safety for her staff and clients. Lastly i had to wear a mask, had my temperature taken and I had to fill out a questionnaire at the door.
I wish I could give this salon 20 stars!!! I went in today after someone gave me a recommendation to see Katie! I went to see her after I went to another salon a few weeks ago and they destroyed my hair. Everyone that knows me knows how important my hair is! My hair is my crown. Not only was she super sympathetic (since I was in tears for the consultation) she made me feel super comfortable. She was very understanding of how I felt. She explained to me what has to be done to slowly restore my hair and also gave me lots of advice to follow up on at home. The whole time I was there I felt super confident that everything was going to be ok. The manager, owner and other stylists made me feel as if I had been going to them for years. I can't wait to go back!!! Thanks Katie!!! And Anthony!! You guys are awesome!!!!!!!!
I was recommended by my friend who comes from manhattan to go to this salon for a haircut with Christine. She has given me the best haircut I have ever had. My hair is very straight, she used several tools and it just falls into place . They offered me many kinds of beverages & hung my coat. It was very welcoming. The salon is very clean. She had asked the assistant to get the brushes from the sterilizer and she explained that all brushes after every client goes into the sterilizer. They are very professional and by far the best customer service I have received from any salon I have ever been.
