Over the years, I've had Japanese straightening done on my hair in a variety of places in NYC, Bergen & Rockland Counties, and none have come even close to the expertise of the straightening done by Yuna. She has many loyal clients who see her for all of their styling needs, but I don't live near-by enough to come on a regular basis. However, I make the trip a couple of times a year to have my hair straightened, and I hope I never have to go anywhere else. Yuna takes the time needed to do an outstanding job: anywhere from almost 4 to around 5 hours depending on how long my hair is and how it's cut. She works in her shop alone, and the bonus is, she's wonderful company and an awesome "host." She even has a flat screened tv set up in her pleasant shop to help pass the time. Not many people do Japanese straightening anymore, I think because it's so time-consuming and labor intensive, but her price is more than reasonable, and my hair always comes out glossy straight and..yes.. healthy. She's a professional, and my hair's health has always been her priority. I've been to other places that got the job done, and to some that took my money....lots of it.... without doing the job at all, but when I had to look for a new place years ago, because so few stylists do the procedure anymore, I hit the jackpot when I found Yuna. I highly recommend you check her out for any of your styling needs, and especially if you're interested in Japanese straightening as a way to make your hair straight and manageable.
