Regis Salon in Puyallup, WA

Pretty decent with good deals... the stylist are very casual and cool... they carry a great line of hair products and keep the salon very intact. The salon is just past Dick's sporting goods across from Verizon... if you don't know... Regis is an old salon with a lot of potential to be revamped... they have solid professionals but not the best management in terms or time and quality. I use to go to a Regis back in the day (late 2000s) when I was younger for color as they have a good reputation for it and even the South Hill Mall Puyallup Regis is pretty good at this... A few of us came here to get hair cuts/trims and styles for my best friend's wedding recently.... "Some Bros marry Bros" and they had a mostly pleasant experience... there were a few hiccups with some nicks and tugs that had me semi-shook... My best friends neck and neckline was very red after his cut and his skin isn't that sensitive.... however most of the final results were a solid B+ and corrections eventually were made or faded away... I ended letting my boyfriend cut and line my hair for me instead as he's a stylist and colorist (but mostly only works with women's hair). I personally recommend them if you're in a time crunch just be as SPECIFIC as possible... they do listen... no texture of hair is created equally and I hope in the feature this is something they'll keep in mind.

I walked in and stood at the front counter. One stylist was sitting her her chair on the right looking at her phone and another one was sitting in her chair on her phone. One lady walked from her customer that looked like she was getting her hair colored to the back of the salon and not one employee said anything to me! I took it as they did not want my business and I walked out!!! Not only will I not go back but I will not take my child to get his haircut here ever again!! The only reason I gave this shitty ass unprofessional salon a one star is because Yelp will not let you proceed.

so rude there my hair was longer on one side didn't know untill i got home cuz they tried to hide it by curling it. i cried when i got home and straightened it. had to have it fix by another salon. when i called 2 times for a refund they didnt even say sorry dont go here!

I never write reviews but my experience here was that bad I'm taking the time to write this. I wish they had an option for no stars. So today, I walk in for my 3:30 apt. and there was no one at the front desk for several min which was fine but then when a lady finally came to check me in, off the bat she had attitude. Barely spoke to me. The only thing she said was my name. Then she sat me down and as I was having a conversation with one of the other stylist the lady doing my hair, whom I never caught the name of but was the older lady with dirty blonde hair and glasses, rudely interrupted and goes "I need to get things started". So after the shampooing, I get seated again and she begins brushing out my hair. I have naturally curly/wavy hair so as you can imagine it's not the easiest to brush out. The lady doing my hair makes a snarky comment that "oh this is gonna take a long time" and I try to make the situation lighter by saying "it's okay I don't have a sensitive head so you can go ahead and brush away" and she goes "well I can assume that, with this much tangles and if you want me to blow dry your hair straight it's gonna cost you extra... yeah it's definitely going to be extra" So now she's finished brushing my hair and goes to grab clips and I decide to part my hair the way I want it to be cut and after she's done doing what she's doing she returns to my hair and gives attitude once again saying "ugh and you just had to go and touch it" and that's when I confronted her and said "I can move to someone else because you're giving major attitude about brushing my hair and dealing with my hair in a damn hair salon" and now she realizes I'm not putting up with her and I clearly see what she's doing and then she goes on to say "I'm not giving you attitude and plus there's no one else that can do your hair today so it's going to have to be me". Once again speaking to me very rudely. That's when I got up, took my apron off and walked out. Along with her snarky and attitude filled comments she was very unprofessional the way she was talking to other stylist in the middle of doing my hair. She's has by far the WORST customer service I've ever dealt with. This is my last time ever going to Regis in the south hill mall. I never got an apology and still after I got up she continued to have attitude. Other stylist seemed to be way better than her but I hope no one has to deal with the service I got today or ever have this lady touch their hair.

I just got my hair done by Kali and I absoultely love it! She has the most gentle touch. I have super curly hair and I've never had a better experience with someone brushing it. She took her time and the amount of detail she put in was amazing!!! Thank you Kali!!
