Paradise Nails in Charlotte, NC

It kinda hurts me to leave a 2 star review but it feels necessary after I came here last week. Employees are super nice there but that still doesn't make up for the poor experience I had.

I made an appointment for SNS nails for my first (and last) visit here. I chose a dark berry color for my nails, and because the technician left it on my fingers for sooo long, it stained them. My fingers were very red. I had to do a scrub on them twice and then another tech had to use acetone all on my hands  Also, when my nails were done, the nail color was all over my cuticles and under them. They didn't look good. I couldn't believe the tech would let me leave with them looking like that! I had to ask for someone to clean them up and then I had to ask more forcefully when I was told "it would just come off at home." I think my nails should look great when I leave the salon and that I shouldn't be expected to clean them up myself. By the time I left there, I'd been at the salon for 2 hours and had at least 5 different techs touch my nails. It was unnecessarily stressful.

In addition to improving their actual work, the management needs to deal better with walk-ins. They kept allowing more people to walk in and wait and promised quick service when they were clearly overworked and the space was way too full inside.

Yes, this salon is a bit cheaper than others but it isn't worth the savings to me.

I have tried this place three times hoping to love it because it's close to my house and a little cheaper than most. The first and second time were mediocre, but the third was awful. I had a different person each time. Six of my cuticles are so sore it hurts to type or wash my hands today, and they have marks where they were knicked enough to bleed a little. Not one or two, but six. A couple are red and puffy and I am worried about infection. I got an SNS manicure and it's bumpy and uneven and not rounded like it should be.

The vibe is good. The ladies are nice. But this isn't a place where everyone is good at manicures. I received a SNS from someone named Susan. She didn't even give me a manicure she just started dipping my nails. It was the worst experience. She left dye all over my hands. I don't know if she was tired that day or what, but Pinky had to go in and fix what she could and she could only do so much.

Great service, wonderful technician who aimed to please when I asked for an ombré kind of gel manicure for Halloween. I always schedule my appointments not that's it's necessary but if you want THE BEST then make one!    I might add they fill my nails. They don't soak them off every time and start new which saves alot of wear and tear not to mention cost.

I took my daughter to this shop recently for a manicure pedicure with gel. Seem pretty new. It wasn't expensive endeavor at $200 with tipped included. They did do a great job on our nails. We got gel on the hands and regular polish manicures on the feet.
