Weave Central in Charlotte, NC

My experience with Jeff is Amazing!  He really is good at being sure I'm relaxed and knowing exactly what hair style I want.  His professionalism is outstanding!  I will continue to schedule appointments with him!!

I've been in Charlotte 4 years and got the BEST hair experience I've had since I've been here today! After reading reviews and doing research I booked a wig installation with Leah... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my hair and I'm beyond glad I did. Everything from the atmosphere, professionalism and service was excellent. I left feeling like a new woman leaving the shop  I will definitely be a returning/long time customer. Thank you again Leah!!!

If you want to keep your edges, don't go to Jeff.

It took me much thought to decide to post a full and honest review about my most recent and last experience at Weave Central. I am not one to leave poor reviews for any small business, but I decided to post my experience in hopes of preventing anyone else from going through the same traumatic experience. Both myself and my daughter have been going to Weave Central for over a year and were initially very happy with all experiences. Our hair has been done by all stylists (previous and current) and neither of us have had a negative experience until the very last time I had my hair done. Initially I was very skeptical of going to a new stylist because I was not familiar with his work (Jeff) but Leah assured me that Jeff was good so I decided to give him a chance. Jeff installed a lace front wig on me and I loved it. For the next service I went back to Jeff because I really loved my first experience. I requested that Jeff remove my lace wig and install a full head sew in with a net. While at Weave Central for my service, Jeff improperly removed my wig. He originally it down. Instead of him using any adhesive remover to properly remove my lace wig, he RIPPED THE WIG OFF OF MY HEAD AND PULLED all of my edges out completely!!!! I was traumatized, I was in pain, I was in shock and just kept telling myself that what I was experiencing was not happening at that time. He proceeded with braiding what was left of my hair and sewing my weave in. Leah was present at the time. I paid well over $200 dollars via credit card for the service to Jeff after all was done and was still in absolute SHOCK and proceeded home. I am not one for confrontation which is why I stayed quiet. When I got home, I was in shock and cried when I lifted the weave up and saw the damage Jeff had caused. I had absolutely NO EDGES and was BALD EVEN FURTHER BACK!! Pictures are below. I couldn't figure out WHY he did not use any adhesive remover to properly remove the wig and why someone that is supposedly licensed would do something so careless and irresponsible like that. I contacted Leah afterwards and reiterated to her what had happened. She saw what he did because she was RIGHT THERE and did not say or do anything. Leah apologized and offered me treatments but at that point I did not want ANYONE from that salon to touch my or my daughters hair ever again. My daughter at the time (previous to me) had a sew in by Jeff. Her natural hair is long. Jeff sewed her hair in entirely too tight in the front and she too now has hair loss. Her hair in the middle and back is fine and long but in the front, her hair is broken off severely and she even has thinning hair and she is only a teenager!!!! Long story short, I DO NOT RECOMMEND WEAVE CENTRAL AT ALL!!! If you want to keep your edges or for your hair to grow, this is not the place for you. I had zero issues (myself and my daughter) until Jeff started working there. My edges still have NOT fully grown back, and I have had to go the a doctor for treatment and at this point I am not sure if my hair will ever fully grow back. I can no longer wear braids or any style that shows my natural edges. I am exhausted from having to spend so much money on wigs and not being able to wear my natural hair from pure embarrassment. PLEASE, do not be fooled by the hype. What kind of responsible hair dresser would do something like RIPPING a clients hair out and not using an adhesive remover and act like nothing happened. I have had to spend so much money on wigs and doctors visits to try cover up my bald edges. Go to them at your own risk. Myself and my daughter were loyal customers and will NEVER go back to them EVER again. Ladies, please save your self potential hair loss and devastation. Choose a salon that will not cause you the pain that I've experienced and will have to deal with now and in the future.
