not only did I have to wait 50 minutes even though I scheduled an appointment, they also made my nails orange when the color I chose was GOLD. absolutely terrible.
DIRTY! I had a scheduled appointment for a pedicure and manicure. The gentleman who did my pedicure just grabbed random tools from his desk, not cleaned or in a sterile bag.
The pedicure was supposed to include a hot stone massage which was skipped.
Overall this place is dirty, disorganized and overpriced!
5 years ago I used to love going to this place to get my nails done. They used to soak off my acrylics (the right way) and made sure everything was straight and cured before I left. I understand nicking a cuticle every once in awhile. What I don't understand is making 7 out of my 10 cuticles bleed as well as say it's my fault when I saw "ow!" To my hangnails being drilled off instead of clipped off by cuticle scissors. I got black French acrylics around the beginning of the month- not the best. They weren't straight and the shape (I asked for coffin) was wrong (borderline almond). A few days ago I went in for a new set- black square acrylics. Once again, the sides were not straight- my middle finger nail is crooked. The real kicker? Both of my thumbs were not cured all the way. Both of my thumbs are peeling already. He used the drill on too high if a speed and hurt my fingers as well. I will not be going back. It's said I paid $58 just to have to go to another salon and get them redone.
I have been coming to the salon for a little over a year now and I have to say I can't imagine going anywhere else! Lena is incredible at what she does, she always checks in with me about whether I like the color or whether anything hurts, or is bothering me throughout the whole appointment. She does the perfect shape every time, and they come out perfect every time! I Couldn't recommend this place more!
Went in with my husband for pedicures. We each requested the modern pedi, mine with gel.
My husband got a nice LOOOOONG massage, leg scrub. I got oil, and less than 3 min massage on each leg.
I assumed she forgot and gave me the basic.
91.00 later she charged us both for modern.
Won't go back.
