New name: Now Jamie Lewis. I have short, straight hair with a few interesting cowlicks. If it's cut right, it needs little attention, which is just the way I like it. After moving to Richmond from SoCal, I'd all but given up. BUT...This guy can cut hair!

Jamie Lewis is a hair WIZARD. Every time I leave I feel sooooo amazing and confident. I've literally referred all my friends to him. I never even bring a picture- I totally trust him to do what ever he wants and I know it'll turn out amazing. I will never go to anyone else as long as Jamie is is still doing hair.
I've been going to Jamie for a few times and each time is getting more expensive. Don't get me wrong which he is really really good and I spent some time to find a good one like him but charging a short hair trim for $60..... That wasn't what I paid for last few times. Short hair requires frequent visits and $60 per visit is way overpriced to me. Sorry Jamie, I guess I won't be coming back unless I am doing something drastic. Good luck!
I have been going to Jamie for years, and I'm really happy he opened his own business. He's great with both cut and color and has done a good job no matter the length of my hair. He's very friendly, and no matter what I ask for he's excited about it. He's done a variety of different color looks, from natural to wildly unnatural, and it always looks awesome. He's really good with layering different colors. I think my favorite was when he dyed it red with some blonde highlights focused on one side, so when I parted it to the left it was really professional, dimensional red, and when I parted it to the right it was bold, streaky blonde with red peeking through underneath. He has done a bunch of different styles of haircut for me, and they all look good. I've had it midway down my back, a traditional bob, a Claire Underwood style, and lately I've been getting a Ruby Rose masculine style cut. I always leave the salon looking fabulous and he teaches me the best ways to style it.
