Best nail techs in Richmond. The entire team is fantastic and they spend time really taking care of the good health of feet. Fantastic service and cleanliness. I have been a loyal customer for nine years.
They do a really great job with my nails, I have made this my go to place now! My gel actually lasts the full 2 weeks and they always look great. BUT PLEASE DO NOT GET WAXED HERE!!! I just watched one of the workers stick the same stick into the wax 6-7 times. If you don't know, this is absolutely disgusting and unsanitary- it can transfer bacteria, diseases, and God knows what else. If someone has chlamydia and gets waxed here and then you get waxed here boom now you have chlamydia wherever you got waxed. She also did not wear gloves while waxing which is a big no no and then didn't even wash her hands and proceeded to go do a pedicure right after... gloveless! Super super unsanitary I don't know if I want to come back even with the great mail job they do. I am so grossed out
This is a little frustrating because I moved here from California. First I must say the facility was very clean. However, long overdue for a makeover. It's not my first time in a nail salon so I'm not uncomfortable with the staff speaking Vietnamese, but it was excessive and very rude. Also there were only two other people in the place and I had to wait 20 minutes for a third employee to show up. I don't know if it's because I'm from California, but I don't understand why on earth it took almost two hours from the time I got here till the time I left. All I got was a gel pedicure. My left foot looks great but my other big toe was cut way too short and at an angle. For $40 plus a $5 tip that's absolutely freaking ridiculous. Didn't even ask what shape I wanted my nails. With that being said,at least look at the shape my nails are before you cut them. The tool she used to shave the dead skin off my toes wasn't properly sterilized it was metal and she didn't disinfect it when she was done. She just threw it back in her plastic box. Waxing another clients eyebrows where she was getting her manicure was also questionable. Not sure if she was double dipping the same wooden stick to reapply wax. I hadn't gotten my eyebrows waxed since I got here 3 weeks, hoping to get them done here while getting my pedi. No thanks!
I wrote a review a week ago on 2/2/19 and the owner has not bothered to respond to my comments. Certainly doesn't speak very highly for this nail salon. If I didn't have to give this comment a star I would not have.
My favorite technician is Vivian... she's very thorough, especially with the Deluxe manicure and pedicure.
