4 stars because my "request" appointment was for Josie and she was overbooked. Don't be afraid of the old building and cute little old ladies. They also do young and current styles. I have an inverted bob and have gone to Carrie several times. She did a good job. But, Since Carrie and I have limited schedule openings, this time I had asked for Josie. When I got there I was a little unsettled that they said Josie was too busy (overbooked), and was it okay if someone else does it. Well, I reluctantly agreed. But not to worry. Denise did my cut this time and it was an awesome job. I'm getting many compliments. Thanks Denise.
I went to Kopy Katz for the first time yesterday after having diven passed several times. I needed quick trim to get rid of my split ends and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. From the outside the building isnt quite what you would expect from a beauty salon, more like an old timey barber shop. But when I went in, it was a quaint little shop with several stylists working. The decor is a bit dated but the service was wonderful. I was a walk in on a friday night but only waited about 5 minutes. That was after I was greeted with the offer of cookies and/or coffee. That was pretty nice. The girl who cut my hair's name was Carrie (sp) and she did a great job and was super friendly. Next time I am in the area will definitely go back to see her. So I guess the shop itself C the environment B the service A+.
