Huynh Family Salon in Hayward, CA

I been here once and loved the service. The only thing I don't like about this place is that its ran by one person and she obviously can't do it on her own that everytime you'd want or need to go there she's always booked or closed. Like I said her service is nice but she's never available if you aren't a regular.

I am a temporary teacher in town and I was looking for a reasonably-priced mani-pedi near CSUEB. This was the place! After seeing rave reviews here on yelp, I picked Huynh's Family Salon. I was a little confused at first when I drove up and the sign said "Lucky Nail Salon" outside, but the manicurist was just as the other reviewers described, so I knew it was the place. Dana was friendly, professional and what I liked best was that she really took her time. She did fantastic work (that mirrored my beloved salon at home) and I liked the experience so much, this because my home-away-from-home for the summer.

This was my first time here. I recently moved from the city and needed a mani/pedi and eye brow waxing desperately. I read most of the yelp reviews and decided to come here and that was a wonderful decision. I called and they were already closed but the owner picked up the call and asked me to come at 9:30 since she had an appt at 11. I got there a few minutes late but confirmed that I was the one who called her last night then I went to pick a color. I brought my daughter with me so she could get her toes painted. She was so helpful and accommodating. We were the only one there, and can I just say how clean this place is! She asked if the water was the right temp and then worked her magic. She spent her time on doing my mani/pedi and did a fab job. My eye brows needed help. She told me to keep the shape even if I don't go back to her but I def will be back. She's funny and sweet and HONEST. I will definitely be back!

I decided to go here yesterday after reading the awesome reviews! There is only one staff and although we did not properly introduce, I'm assuming her name is Dana. Well Dana did an excellent job with my pedicure and manicure. While doing my nails, she was very gentle, took her time and provided very knowledgeable information about keeping my nails healthy since she noticed I had a bruise. We chatted up a storm which made my experience more worthwhile and comfortable! *Also one of the biggest reasons I wanted to try this salon out was because I noticed she had salon chairs for pedicures which I'd rather be in instead of those cheap salons that uses buckets of waters. I'll be returning!

Dana does my nails and she is the best! She takes her time and makes sure they look beautiful and you are satisfied. Dana is super sweet and very creative. I've been to many nail salons and she really cares about her customers and makes sure all her tools are clean and sanitized. She did such a fab job! Amazing experience.
