The Natural Nail Salon in Hayward, CA

I have found my spot! If I could give 10 stars I would. I have been struggling to find a nail salon close to home. I've come here a couple times now and let me tell you...if you want everything done right come see Dao. It's by appointment only and she is always booked so best to call ahead a couple days in advance. Maybe even a week and book your next appointment after your current one. The name of her shop says it all. She focuses on natural nail care and doesn't do acrylics which I love. Dao is very knowledgeable of the products she uses and what's best for your nails. From start to finish you will notice that she is super hygienic and everything is sanitized. You may notice that she doesn't do massage chairs and I almost let that deter me from making an appointment. Once she explained why she doesn't use them I'm actually super grateful and prefer her method now. She brings out a fresh sanitized tub for every pedicure and the chairs she has are super comfy. She really puts a lot of thought and care into what she does. She even recommended a shape for my toes that I hadn't thought of before that will now be my go-to. I can go on and on about how great Dao and her services are, but you should just go see for yourself. You can tell how good she is from the number of regulars she has. Something I appreciate about her shop is that since it's by appointment only there are only ever two people getting their nails done at a time and maybe one person waiting for their appointment. She takes care of you from start to finish and is never working on another client simultaneously (can't speak for when her other nail tech isn't there though, but both times I've gone they have both been there). Not like going into a crazy busy salon where you feel rushed and the quality of work isn't that great because they're so busy. My experience here has been top notch. Thank you SO much, Dao! Dao is amazing! I was drawn here out of curiosity about Bio Sculpture gel, which is a gel mani that doesn't wreck your nails when you take it off. My first Bio Sculpture mani lasted over 5 weeks, and my nails were much less fragile when I removed the color than they ever have been after removing dips, regular gels, or acrylics. This time, I took a picture in for Dao to work from, and it's exactly what I wanted. (She painted the accent nail by hand, too! Straight lines and all!) She's very patient, her attention to detail is unparalleled, and I never felt rushed or ignored like you do at some of the bigger turn-and-burn salons in Hayward and Castro Valley. Make an appointment ahead of time because they fill up fast (and with good reason).

Love this salon! I am so happy to have finally found them. I have been coming here for months and Dao is amazing. She is super sweet and does great work. Mani's last me about a month with no chipping or other issues. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment for 5 September manicure pedicure and I want it all natural. The place was very nice and the technicians were very nice so I got a service that I was supposed to last me for weeks. It lasted two weeks my nails peeled chipped out grow from the cuticle Oil which was not what I expected. I thought I had found a nice place that I would be going to. It could be lie upon when you say that it's going to last for weeks for the money that is paid because it's pretty pricey. Again would have been worth that price because the place was a nice little place and the two ladies that were in there that day were very nice., disappointment with not getting what is in their brochure and out of their own mouth to say it last four weeks, so I can, I said that I could recommend and that I will be back so I will continue to look for that perfect nail spot or I can trust with you say

A clean and cozy gem tucked away on a side street in Hayward! I love that this salon does NOT offer acrylics. The fumes in other salons were sometimes unbearable and triggered asthma attacks in me. This salon doesn't have this issue. It is clean, airy, and modern. I originally went in for gel, but opted for bio sculpt later (not because they upsold me) When I first made the appointment, by phone, they asked if I wanted gel or bio sculpt; I didn't know what bio sculpt was, so stuck with gel... then I researched and decided I'd ask for bio sculpt at the appointment, and it wasn't an issue despite it taking a bit longer than gel! It was a bit pricey, but well worth it for a healthy and long lasting manicure. No peeling gel or overly trimmed cuticles here! Cynthia is meticulous and gentle. She did a wonderful job and I will be returning to her! She was gentle, meticulous, a wonderful balance of of talkative and focused. Book your appointment AT LEAST a week in advance!
