There is a very sad addendum to my review of 11/4/2022. One year later, as I was packing to move, my hip broke. It just happened to be the one I landed on when I was thrown from the shop onto the parking lot. I was black and blue and my elbow bled, but I did go home. I had to go to Danville to have the"girdlestone" surgery since they had the only Dr. who could fix this kind of hip injury. The damage was extreme. I am still recovering and in a wheelchair, hoping to progress to a walker. Could I sue them, you bet! At 81, do I need that kind of stress while moving to a smaller, kinder place? I do believe in Karma, what goes around, comes around. LuAnn and Dan are sad, unhappy people. The world I grew up in no longer exists - this is what justice looks like in State College, PA. I don't live there.
I have been going here for 20+ years for LuAnn to do my hair. Not only does she do an amazing job, she has amazing customer service and make sure her clients leave happy. Not only is she an amazing stylist, she's a great person. Very independent and an incredibly hard worker.
LuAnn is incredible!! She is extremely passionate about what she does and took the time to have a consult with me before cutting my hair, which I really appreciated. I didn't feel rushed to know exactly what I want like I have with other hairdressers. She is very experienced and knew just what to do with my thin, long, unstyled hair to give it the revamp it so badly needed. From talking with her, I've learned that she is so very hardworking and strong. Definitely proud to support this business, and I will be going back! :)
LuAnn is the greatest, we where visiting from Los Angeles with family and my wife wanted to have her hair done. She was able to fit her in and did a fantastic job , my wife looks great and her experience was as good as any salon in California. My wife couldn't stop talking about how nice LuAnn was , what an interesting person she was, as well as how her wonderful listening style.
This is the best facial I ever got. Soooo relaxing. The Lady's working there are so nice. What a great atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!!
