Looks Hair Design in State College, PA

Meghan is amazing! This is my first salon experience in PA and so happy I got my hair done by her. She was personable, friendly, and did exactly what I wanted. I showed her a few photos of looks I was aiming for, and she did her magic. Would definitely recommend coming here if looking for a new stylist!

I got my hair done today by Megan and she absolutely killed it! She took her time, and made sure that I had an awesome experience. I will definitely be going back to her. Also, the supervisor Anita is awesome. I had some trouble with my last appointment, and she made sure that I got taken care of by Megan. I am beyond satisfied.

My daughter has read the reviews on instagram on Sarah and went to meet with her. She showed her a picture of what she wanted and said she could 1000 present her her hair lighted like the picture she showed her. She told her it would take about 3.5 hrs and my daughter confirmed she couldn't pay more than $300. When she got there to get her hair done she said she wasn't going to have enough time to get it as lighten as she wanted, but had time to work on someone else while her hair was processing, she could of taken that time she worked on someone else and put the foils in her hair to her scalp. Instead she worked on someone else and didn't do any of the crown of her hair, then charged her $325 and told her she had to pick up her kids by 6 pm so she couldn't style it. Told her to come back tomorrow and she would style it. She hurried and dried her hair, but never combed it or brush it while or after drying it. Sarah's work is awful! Look at the pics and decide for your self! I don't think this is the kind of work you want done on your hair, that charges $325. I will tell everyone to save their money.

An update...I received a call from Anita after she saw the review. She went out of her way to reach out and offered full compensation as well as a re-do of my nails. She asked Kylie to come in the following morning and Kylie did a great job and gave me exactly what I wanted. I did not expect this level of costumer service excellence and I am truly grateful for all the effort given. Anita especially is incredibly kind and accommodating.

I debated posting this because it happened in February....I went for a color and it was nearly $300 and took hours and the kicker my hair was NOT fully dry. I was thankful they were able to get me in on short notice but short have been weary when my stylist was very late. From there it went downhill it took her a few different toners to make my hair one color... mind you I have only had my hair professionally done. After we finally got the color right I had someone else give me a quote blow out but it was literally just a half hearted hair dry with my roots still wet. In the end my hair looked nice but the cost and time was not worth it.
