Deluxe Nail Salon- Hulen in Fort Worth, TX

Honestly had great service here! I brought my mother to get a pedicure as well as myself. We closed out with a gift card which left my final amount around $60 and added tip. Well I just checked my account today and saw I was charged over $150 dollars which is absolutely crazy. I tried to reach out but there is no email online, gave the phone a couple of rings with no response and not able to leave a vm so this is my final resort.

My regular girl at another salon was out last week and so I thought I'd give Deluxe nails a try. My technician was Becca. When I left, I thought my nails looked really nice. This was Friday 2/23/24. By 2/25, I noticed my right thumbnail had lifted and the dip on top had broken off. So, I tried to file my thumb nail down to where the broken dip stopped. The next day, my middle finger did the same and yet again, I tried to make it look the best I could by filing it down. Now Tuesday, the thumb on my left finger has done the same. Now, when you pay $65 for a manicure, I do not believe I should be having to "fix" my own nails three days later. If they would have been done properly; this would not have been an issue. It was clear the bonding material to help the dip stay was not done correctly, if at all. If you know dip, it's so hard to remove and this was flaking off like regular polish! I went in to ask that they be fixed. They would only fix the three nails that have currently lifted and broken. Even though common sense would tell you I will have the same problem on the rest of the nails eventually. And I don't have time to come back everyday that this happens as I was instructed to do. And why should I? I paid for a manicure that is not adhering! However; even worse, the manager, older gentleman, is extremely rude. Kept walking away from me while I was speaking to him. Has no backbone. Would not look me in the face as I spoke to him.. Hurried to the back and hid. The proof is in the photo. They sure are extremely nice when you walk in and are giving them your $. But when it comes to backing up their services, they run. Poor customer service. So take this as your warning. Don't take your chances. Go elsewhere. I trekked on outta there and had my nails done at another salon. I have now spent a total of $115 for manicure in 4 days time because of this incident Live and learn. Never deluxe nails again.

The only words I can think of to describe the lazy worker isn't politically correct and would get flagged for disrespecting women. However, she is a disrespect. She wouldn't try to wax more than 5-10 minutes and even said she could finish with tweezers but she doesn't "feel like it". She was rough and not only clearly didn't know what she was doing, had no interest in even trying. She did, however, try and make me feel bad about myself and blame me. Let's get this straight. I've been waxing a long time and I know the right length to come in at. PS Next time you cuss out a customer to your coworkers to try and cover your bad work, make sure they don't know your language.

DO NOT TRUST THE STATED PRICES!!!!!!! They charged us an extra 27 dollars more than what they told us it would be. French tips were supposedly an $8 up charge but on our receipt it was an extra $25 and they charged us for shaping. My friend got a design and it was so uneven and jagged which was very upsetting considering the price was $75. It was just extremely lacking in precision and overall a frustrating experience. THEN: we tried to use a gift card but they declined it because it was too old. MORAL OF THE STORY: Nails were not what was asked for. The price was absurd. They lied to us about the price. and refused to acknowledge the gift card. Overall awful experience. We still tipped despite our disappointment but will not be returning. Would only recommend this place for a simple manicure and possibly pedicure. Thank you.

If I could give a zero I would!! I received a gift card for this place and decided to use it. I got JULIE as my nail tech, she was extremely rough, I have been growing out my nails for a while and I had fake acrylic nails on. Well without asking, she started cutting my nails with the nail clippers and then asked if that was ok!!? Then instead of soaking off my nails she used a nail tip to literally go in between my nail and my fake acrylic nail and started ripping them off that way. She broke my nail beds and it was hurting so bad I asked her to stop and to soak them off.... Her initial response was "no, you'll be ok" I had to say "No, you need to soak them off". Finally she soaked off my nails on my left hand after I refused to let her continue. She was extremely rough with me, kept pulling my hands, looking at me and talking to her coworker Steven and looking back at me and laughing. I did complain to the front staff but not sure if anything will be done. I got a small cut on my pinky, my right hand nail beds are sore as heck. Nail salons are supposed to be relaxing, I shouldn't have to be on verge of tears from pain and there's shouldn't be blood. By far the worst nail salon experience ever!
