Syd did an amazing job. I came in with a weird request- i had a grown out undercut and wanted to turn it into a mullet/mohawk. They made it work beautifully and made me feel welcome. If you have an "alternative" hairstyle, these people know what to do. Found this place after too many hair salons screwed up my untraditional hair. A little pricey but worth it.

Terrible experience.... Four months later and I'm still having to deal with the effects of this terrible haircut. I came to this salon per recommendation of a friend, Not taking into account the only service they ever had was the smallest trim. I selected "transformative haircut" on their online website and made an appointment. When I showed up, it took them a minute to even figure out whose client I was. I came in with hair past my shoulders to the back of my shoulder blades. I told the stylist I wanted to cut my hair a little above shoulder length. Very simple cut, and the picture attached is what I showed her. She took it upon herself to say she thought a Wolf cut would be better, and I *again* showed her the picture of what I wanted. I thought we were on the same page, so I let her cut my hair. As she was cutting, more and more and more hair off, I began getting that sinking pit feeling in my gut. I wanted to tell her to stop but I was TRUSTING HER. She chopped my hair as short as three inches in the back. When she was done, I instantly started crying. I couldn't help it. She DID NOT LISTEN TO ME AND DID WHATEVER THE HELL SHE WANTED TO DO. Your clients are NOT a blank canvas for you to do whatever the fuck you want. I asked for something and this person did what *she* thought was better. This is not how you treat clients. I was already having some self esteem issues and I was coming to get a haircut that would make me feel uplifted and good. She absolutely destroyed what shred of self esteem I had left and STILL months later I absolutely loathe how my hair looks and I refuse to wear it down. LISTEN TO YOUR CLIENTS. Why do I even have to say that? Some of the people here need to make sure they are actually taking their time in the consultation and make sure you're on the same page. And taking on your own agenda on SOMEONE ELSE'S HAIR IS NOT OKAY. They then offered extension services that I would have to pay for myself. Yeah. Sure. The only thing redeeming about this experience in the smallest amount is that the owner refunded my money. Four months later and I still hate my hair so so much and it keeps me feeling insecure and like shit. It will take a year or more for my hair to grow back. If you're brave enough to come here, make sure you take a very very long time to clarify with the stylist what you want. And double triple check it. Personally I will never ever ever EVER be coming back here.

Scammers! If their employees are unable to complete a service before 5pm, they will charge you an after hours fee...for THEIR employees being slow and not able to complete a service within 3 hours. They'll find any way to tack on fees to your service. I recommend finding a salon that enforces honest business ethics and good customer service!
