Blooming Beauty Salon & Spa in Vancouver, WA

This was kind of a frustrating experience for me. I have (or, I used to have) really long thick hair, which was pretty overgrown by the time I made it here. I think the stylist and I might have had a miscommunication because I asked for her to put more layers in my hair and clean up my bangs. She asked if she could cut off a little bit of length because of my split ends, and I said that was fine. But when I walked out she'd cut off a good four inches, and the layers were barely there. The ends of my hair are really boxy, blunt, and heavy now, but I'm afraid to go anywhere to fix it because I don't want to lose even more length. I hate to leave a negative review because this was a really nice place and the stylist was really kind but I'm so sad about my hair. I look like Lord Farquaad.

Rasada does amazing work! It is very hard to find an amazing hair stylist when you constantly move but I am so glad I found her. I went in for a cut and color, I explained to her what I wanted and the results turned out better than what I expected. She is very professional and she explained the whole process to me. I can tell she cares a lot about her clients because she really takes the time to understand what style you want and she is such a nice person.

Maria does a wonderful job! I highly recommend asking for her. She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. The environment is friendly, and I look forward to being a regular!

I will start out saying my hair does look great. But Maria was very very unprofessional and it took over four hours to do what typically takes about two. I've had my hair done for 15 years so I know. I scheduled a full highlight with cut and after 4 1/2 hours I still couldn't even get my cut because I had to leave for another appointment. She also neglected to tell me that she was going to be charging me more than full highlights when I got to the end to pay. I'm just glad the hair actually looks OK, this would've been a much worse experience. I previously went here once before trying out Rashada and she was fantastic. Whatever you do unless you have a Ton of extra Time and don't mind being overcharged definitely don't book Maria.
