Lynn Hair Salon in Vancouver, WA

Granted, she is the only one working there, but she treats you like you are the only one that matters (at that particular moment). I give her a bit of leway on her opening time (she often opens late) because, I think, she is a young mother running a business and caring for a family. I usually get my hair cut at a 1/4" length, which she has no problem with. I once went to her salon early (probably 9:15), and she was nowhere to be found, so I went to "Stupidcuts" down the street near Fred Meyer. That was the biggest mistake I have ever made to get my haircut. As I mentioned above I usually get my hair cut at a 1/4" length, Stupidcuts refused to do it. I just needed to clean up the mop that had grown on my head. The total at Stupidcuts was $30, and they wouldn't cut any shorter than 3/4", I think it was the worst haircut I have ever gotten. Getting my hair cut there (at Stupidcuts) wound up costing me $50, $30 for them to cut it wrong + $20 for Lynn to fix their screw-up.

Best hair cut I've had. Love getting my hair done by Lynn. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist in the Vancouver area.

Called a day before if she can take an appointment. She told me to walk-in. I went 20min before opening to be the first one to receive hair cut. She showed up 9:12, no apologies for her delay. Then she told me to wait outside for one hour since she has a customer to come in for a perm appointment. She could explain more when I called a day before. No customer service what so ever.

I would recommend Lynn's Hair Salon to anyone who wants a great haircut, Lynn talked me into getting a flattop about 8 years ago, when her shop was still in Orchards, and she is one of a very few people who can do a flattop justice, she is the only one I will let cut my hair. During this pandemic, before she opened back up, I went to another place to get a haircut and it just wasn't the same, so, if you want a great haircut, go see Lynn.

Hours say they open at 9am. Well they don't. I wish I could give a zero because I'm so upset that I wasted so much time this morning. Knowing that getting a haircut would probably mean a long wait, I decided to show up early to get in line. I got there around 8:45 and waited until 10:30 this morning before I finally gave up. She never showed up and there was no number to call to see if they were even going to open. As I stood there and talked to other customers, they talked about how she always does this. If the hours are different than posted, please change them. I spent over an hour and a half standing around waiting. I will never go back to the place again. It's a complete lack of respect for your customers to constantly do this to them. A couple of guys said they even talked to her yesterday and she said to show up at 10. So they had been waiting for 30 minutes when I finally decided to leave.
