1+1 Hair Salon in Raleigh, NC

I followed my stylist, Tom, here after he transition to a new studio. He's worth it, trust me! I wanted to get soft bangs but was scared about making that decision. He made the cut worthwhile! I love my hair so much and am wondering why I waited so many years to do this! I also got long layers which he did beautifully! I'm really happy I found Tom since he really understands my hair and makes me look fabulous. Highly recommend him and the studio if you're looking for a stylist who works with Asian hair!

Excellent haircut experience! After having trouble finding an asian hair salon to accept an appointment, 1+1 hair salon swiftly accepted my request. My stylist, Tom, was incredibly thoughtful and paid close attention to what I wanted after showing a few examples. He asked throughout the haircut if the length and cut was shaping up as requested. Moreover, it was the most gentle hair experience I've ever had!

Overall, 1+1 hair salon provided a calm, quick, and affordable experience while giving me the best haircut I've had all year. Looking forward to going back!

No comment on how the hair job was, but here is my experience without exaggeration: I made an appointment a week ahead of time for 10:30 hair cut and perm, the owner knows that I have to travel 2 hours and 30 minutes to get here, on the way to Raleigh, she called to let me know that she couldn't be there 10:30, asked if I could be there 11:00 o'clock, I was already in route, and not much I could do, I politely agreed. At 11:00 I showed up at the salon and there was only one hair dresser, he was working on someone who needs coloring, and said to me coldly that he was not aware of an appointment and he doesn't have time to work on me. I contacted the owner and she promised to be here in a few minutes, 45 minutes later, she showed up. At this point I'm beyond upset, a 10:30 appointment is over an hour late, and he was far from done with the previous customer. It's the most unprofessional hair salon I've ever encountered. Upon her arrival,she apologized and made up a "serious" excuse, she said there was a bad accident, even if it were true, no one would believe it. I was not about to wait longer and pay several hundred for a cut and perm with an unpleasant mood for the rest of the day, so I called another Asian hair salon in Cary and they were so kind to fit me in after I explained that I live over two hours away.

My friends and I came in for a spontaneous haircut and we were treated like royalty! The hairstylists were so friendly and were detailed with the way they cut and styled our hair. Every stylist took their time and cared for their customers without making anyone feel rushed.

For woman's haircuts, the prices are very reasonable. It's safe to say it's cheaper than most Asian hair salons. Special shout out to Kelven for the awesome framing and styling!

Dave is extremely profesional and knows exactly what he is doing. Super knowledgeable and friendly. I totally recommend anyone that wants a great haircut and coloring done to come here. You won't regret it!
