The Spa & Salon at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD

This spa is a DREAM!! The spa is fairly close to the resort front entrance so easy to get to, every service person from valet, to front desk, to spa check in was beyond ideal in attitude and helpfulness- even on a super cold day! Our check in was easy and we genuinely felt welcomes and comforted from the start- they should have the front desk people train everyone who works at spas! The facilities were sublime! The hot tub isn't that large but 5 people would be ok, and they made phenomenal use of the space with small rooms for lounging, steam room, sauna room, and more chairs and tables in the hot tub area. The locker room is well appointed with locks, slippers, robes, a swimsuit drier and everyday extra amenities to use. The showers are luxurious as well with top notch bath products to use. The rooms are kept very clean and stocked with waters and fun snacks- the spicy snacks keep your electrolytes going and the fruits and nuts keep your proteins and carb balanced. The designs are elegantly whimsical and while I was sad when our time was done, I felt beyond satisfied and relaxed.

My daughter had gifted me a spa afternoon with her that included a full body massage and use of the facilities ( relaxation rooms, hot tub, sauna, steam room and showers). The massage was awesome! It felt wonderful! According to my daughter, hers was just as superb. Champagne was offered after ( nice touch ) while we lounged and relaxed. Big downside, in my opinion, was the background music was a bit too loud . We were also quite disappointed that the steam room was non-operational. We were really looking forward to that The rest of the amenities were nice and the place is super clean.

I received a massage today from tiesha and I was very disappointed by the attitude of the therapist. For such a beautiful spa I couldn't believe the negativity I received. She seemed preoccupied and was wearing an AirPod like it was an inconvenience to give me a massage. The massage was not relaxing at all. The front desk Sean durning checkout was also preoccupied on his cell phone and wasn't very friendly. Overall check in was good Saree the host was very nice and gave me a tour and set me up locker and robe and slippers. Spa was very clean and well kept facilities are very nice one of the best facilities I've been to in a spa. Customer service at desk and therapist are not up to par and very inexperienced.

I loved my visit!! From check in to the massage to the post massage care everything was curated with care. After check in I was given a tour of the facility. The location was very clean. You may have to change in an open locker room, however a secluded room is available for those who are not comfortable. There was a large party during my visit so it was a bit noisy. The staff apologized ahead of time. I didn't mind hearing other people just be happy. The massage was wonderful. The massage therapist applied the perfect amount of pressure. She gave me advice about how to relieve right muscles in between visits. I was offered a complimentary glass of champagne or a mimosa and spent the rest of my time in the hot tub and sauna. The location also has a steam room. The only issue we had was being charged when our appointment was moved earlier in the week. The manager was very apologetic, offering services for the inconvenience. I will definitely be back.

The best massage I've ever had!!!! I really enjoyed this spa in comparison to the other two I've visited in the area. It's small and intimate plus the service here was impeccable. Once you check in they give you this form to complete. Afterward, they give you a tour of everything and show you how to use the lockers. They provide you with a robe and slippers. Once you're settled and robed up, you go to the waiting lounge (which is relaxing), there, they have snacks and water with lemon. Whatever service provider you're assigned will come to get you from the lounge. I had the custom massage and asked for my masseuse to pay equal attention to my entire body. John was exceptionally awesome! I love that the massage tables are electric. Afterward, they bring you a drink of your choice (I went with the pineapple mimosa). Then you're left to explore the facility. I enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub. I'm most definitely coming back.
