So you can tell that the place hasn't been deep cleaned in years. but.... I was going ev 2 weeks and getting my nails done by chichi ... i got several greenies on my nails and her attitude was repulsive. she was good with designs but it just wasn't worth it. The place needs a thorough deep cleaning and an attitude adjustment.
People hype this place to much! Honestly, I been here 6 times. (2-6 times I had no other option). I learned to put appointments elsewhere. This place will charge you for every new job they do for you. Shape? Gel or Polish? All detailed oriented. I am not a fan of that man- Owner Don. He looks money hungry. Go to VA. Different Vibes. Not any other salon I been to have been like this treatment I get from this salon. Keep in mind, this salon is not even spa looking or anything close to selling fruits & wine meanwhile doing nail/pedi services like VA. The worst in Oxon Hill, MD.
I came here all the time in high school so I thought it would be smart to come while my nail tech was out of town... WRONG! I got a fill-in and gel pedicure Thursday night. Outside of clipping a piece of skin on my toe my pedicure was okay but my fill in was TRASH! By Thursday night I had two broken nails and chipped polish. Friday I returned to the shop to get it fixed and they fixed it. I was satisfied until Saturday morning when another nail broke! I took the time to return to the shop again. A lady started getting loud with me and told me "maybe you are doing too much" when I asked if they could do my acrylic again because it clearly wasn't done right! My nails hardly ever break! I will never return to this shop again!!!
I went to go get my nails done here on the 4th of July, the next day my gel pedicure was already gone off of one toe. As a couple days go by the gel polish on my hands are lifting and are getting caught in my hair. The young lady who did my pedicure cut my toe while doing my cuticles. When I came back to get it fixed on July 12th, because I work and am school for nursing, they told me that it cannot be fixed and that it's time to get it done all over again anyway. I will not be returning here because this is the second time I came here and had a terrible experience. The manager was of no help and did not apologize for the experience or the inconvenience. I do not recommend coming here at all, they take your money and do not care about the experience or accommodating for the inconvenience.
I've been coming here for years and for the most part, they do excellent work! People say to ask for Don but I always go to whoever's available and they get the job done. 4 stars because occasionally they will miss up my nail shape but I would recommend speaking up when you notice a mistake. BTW, they do 15% off nail services Mon-Thurs, CASH only. Can't beat that!! Love you guys!
