2 FRIENDS AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING in Oxon Hill, MD

I went to them some years ago because I needed them to take my braids out due to a tendon injury in my right hand. I had a whole cast on and do you know they asked me to help them take my hair out? If I COULD take it out, I surely would pay you guys to do it. They gave me a bunch of cards. I threw them away. I would never tell a soul to go there ever. Go to Amen Braiding instead. I loved it there.

I have went here multiple time but this was my final and last time I'm beyond pissed bout my hair and extra after I got a bald spot in I jus got my hair down don't get it pulled or haven't pulled it I got my hair done and three days after trying to get my conrows fixed but that was whole big messy issue they kept telling me that my hair was fine and it is not it didn't blend with cornrows you can tell fake her is add different sizez of Corows looks nothing like what the picture of what it supposed to look like then my whole back room came out the fourth day so I have no back plats can't get a refund or seem to be my hair fixed correctly look like I couldn't got it done at shop then Conrow Throw it off some correct size and some different then blending of them Smh I'm over ther serived but prices was responsible thanks to services with y'all wish y'all the best

Update: It's been a few years now since I've been visiting. I think my last visit will be the final one. My briads (cornrows) were a mess!! I should've taken a picture of it, well I did but it was horrible from the parts, to the hair that was used, to the threading to hold them together, to the braids themselves. Need I go on?! I even came back less than 24 hours later to have it fixed but one of the other braiders who was there when I got them done and she tried to fix them then they as a group began to speak (not in English) laughed. She took one of them apart and re-braided it and then used scissors to fix the parts that were sticking out. UUGGHH!! I can't! Maybe it was just a bad day for Edie but I took them out. Even my friends were like "girl, don't go back there". ..Also they charge you extra to use your debit card, but why??

I went to this shop for the first time and the first time getting faux locs. I got there at 7am and was done at 9am two people did my hair it was fast. The only thing was they where to big not a lot of braids for my little head. so I called the manager back and she was so nice and told me to come back in they can fix it to make it smaller and they did I love my hair now that it's smaller. The prices are very affordable they also provide the hair. They let me get Marley hair for my faux locs and still was the same price. I will be going back

I needed to get my hair braided ASAP because I wanted it to look a specific way & be minimal maintenance during my trip so I went to the closest place near my home. To be honest I can't complain, the lady got me in on a walkin basis, was very nice & the service was FAST! She did talk on the phone while braiding my hair, but it didn't seem to mess up her flow so I didn't care. I really liked that they provide hair so you don't have to bring your own unless you have a preference of what you want. It's nothing fancy but they have what they need to get the job done right. I will definitely go back!
