okay so the vibe there was acceptable, Majorly the atmosphere when I sat down to get my braids re-done,The hairstylist is fantastic! she cuts my hair with care rather than rushing through it. The hairdresser spends time with her's clients and will make adjustments slowly. You can put your trust in her with your head! If I had a chance to hang out there again you reading this review might consider that thought done, they make you feel as if you was at home can't stress enough the final outcome of my hair, Ladies y'all better hide y'all mommas,

So I went to get my hair done two weeks ago I got a sewin the first problem was the person I spoke to was not who did my hair.....two the lady used one piece of braiding hair to doy braids for a sewin before she completed I asked to do a quick weave instead but she stated I had too much hair ..... Keep in mind I have been wearing quick weave since I started my job and had never heard that from anyone else. Then once it was done I didn't like it but paid because I knew it would make no difference explaining how I didn't like the look. Soon as I got home and tied it down how she said the style looked crazy the next day. And today I had to take two tracks out because they were hanging all in all I shouldn't be paying to get my hair done again especially since I explained why I wanted a sewin done in the first place.

I hate to write these types of reviews. Doesn't mean I won't write them, I just hate to do it. This review is on Robin, NOT the salon itself. I scheduled a 9am appt for today with Robin after being referred by a friend. I had been really excited to get my hair braided and I trusted my friend's recommendation. I was sent a link to book with Robin directly and I quickly confirmed the booking. This morning I made my way to the salon, admittedly having a bit of trouble locating the salon. It's in a shopping center behind the McDonald's for anyone who may need that info.... as a first time client, I sure did. Anyway, I arrived at 9:05. Grabbed my keys, my phone, my mask, and hurried inside. There was a stylist in the salon working on a client who kindly greeted me. I informed her I had an appointment with Robin at 9, and she escorted me to a seat and assured me Robin would be right back. Well, that turned into a 10 minute wait, and I decided to ask the other stylist if she knew where Robin was. She didn't, but told me Robin may have gone to grab a bite to eat which is totally understandable. I waited a few more minutes before checking my email to see that Robin sent a cancellation email of my appointment at 9:02. I told the other stylist this, and she gave me Robin's phone number (which is NOT on her website). I called Robin, left a voicemail apologizing for my short delay and assured her I'd be patiently waiting. After a few more minutes I called my friend who referred me to ask if this was normal of Robin. I told her I was a few minutes late due to not finding the location, the GPS takes you past the storefront! Not great... She told me it wasn't, and tried to contact Robin thinking it may have been an emergency. I waited almost an hour, before contacting another one of my friend's who actually ended up knowing Robin to ask her if she had a different phone number. She didn't, and she decided to contact Robin herself. No answer. I thanked the stylist who was working for her help, but told her I would be leaving. It's almost 11am, and after a phone call and email to Robin I haven't heard anything back, nor am I interested in hearing back. Robin did, however, replied to my friend to say that she had waited 10 minutes, then cancelled my appointment and left. Some issues here: I received the cancellation email at 9:02 am... There's no contact number at all... Robin's website and booking rules state that she has a 15 minute grace period. So, her leaving at "9:10", is still 5 minutes earlier than her posted rules and she wasn't there. I don't like for my time to be wasted, and I won't ever attempt to book with Robin again. I booked with another salon down the street, and the owner assured me they would be there, and gave me an even better price. I look forward to this appointment.
