All the good reviews about Mike are 100% accurate. I have finally found a hair stylist that is able to style my short, sparse, thin hair. I always settle for an okay haircut. Today, after Mike finished my hair I didn't feel like I settled. Mike also offered some great suggestions for color that I am looking forward to in future appointments.

I had the same hairdresser for 32 years-and then I moved! Finding the right person to replace the wonderful one I was leaving was a challenge. The first salon I went to, on a recommendation, did a good job, but cost a fortune. I wasn't sure what the going rate is here, but so much more than LA??? Anyway, Michael listened to what I wanted, and did a great job of creating it . I am super happy with my cut. My only disappointment is that Irma did not come over to be petted, although she behaved like a perfect lady.

Short version: Wonderful. I got a great hair cut at an astonishingly good price. Long version: It was a Saturday and I was leaving town Monday morning to see old friends. My hair was a mess - I hadn't had a cut in 14 months! Driving by on my way somewhere else, I noticed the well lighted windows and the shop name - Art of Hair. I appreciated all of that and checked the website. There I found just what I wanted to see - examples of the shop's work. I called and Mike was kind enough to tack me on to the end of what was probably a long day. He took the time to talk to me, to talk about the gap between the web-photos I showed him versus the reality of my super-thin hair and then he got to work. As he was styling, I was smiling. It felt good to feel good about my hair style. When I went to pay, I was doubly delighted because it was such an exceptionally good value. I have found my new place for hair
