Tangles Hair Studio & Day Spa in Stevensville, MD

I LOVE Tangles! I go there every time I need a hair cut! Even if its just a quick trim. I walk in, tell them I just need a trim, I wait about 5-10 minutes max for someone to open up or I'm lucky enough that my hairdresser Crystal is open and I get my hair done! I have gone there to get my hair done for prom, which turned out amazing, I have gone there to get my hair dyed, which turned out lovely since it was something the hairdresser has not done before, and I got there for any other hair appointments. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to either get a quick trim or their cut and styled. They even cut mens hair too!

The cut was uneven, not stylist and just a bad cut. When my girlfriends saw me their first question was "What happened to your hair?" I needed to go the next day and have it cut shorter to fix the uneven layers. My hair is/was about 4'"s pass my shoulders. I am not a picky client and will sometimes cut my own hair depending on how busy my schedule is so for me to complain is not the norm. The stylist was very nice however she was late for our appointment by 10 minutes. I really wanted to like this place as the price and location were right but I will not go again.

The salon is clean and inviting, a true gem in an otherwise nondescript area. I was nervous going in because I have curly hair and am cautious about using stylists I don't know but was given to Crystal after mentioning I wanted someone experienced with curly hair. She was warm and friendly, and eased my fears when she consulted me on exactly what I wanted and kept checking in during the haircut. I was mentioning to her how I was planning to style it later for the wedding and she gave me great tips to set me up for success! Overall a great out of town experience! I wished I had more time to book a massage as that also looked very inviting and relaxing. I would go back if I'm ever in that area again!

I went here for the first time last week and had a great experience. At 2 pm on a Wednesday, they took me right away as a walk-in. What I wanted was pretty simple, but Crystal listened carefully and did everything perfectly. The result was bouncy and cuter than I expected. For the next two days I was sneaking happy glimpses of myself in every mirror I passed. Nice stylists, great value for $40 wash/cut/style, would definitely go back!

Had my hair done today with Cooleen and the work was horrible. I ended up with different colors and big chunks of silver, orange highlights...They don't even have a professional blow dryer to dry your hair.......No wonder the salon was so empty on a Saturday....I will NOT recommend this place, I will go back to SALON ATELIER, better hairstylist and better service... I THINK THE HAIRSTYLIST HAVE JUST GRADUATED FROM SCHOOL....YOU'LL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.......
