I've been to multiple stylists to get my hair the way I dream, I have blonde hair and I don't like how it gets golden and now darker since I've had my baby, I found SHELBY thanks to my friend and she has absolutely SLAYED my hair! I've found my soulmate stylist and plus this salon has made me feel so welcomed and it's such a great atmosphere!! I recommend to everyone!
I scheduled an appointment about a week ago and the said they could get me in for an appointment today. When I arrived the sign on the door said to call the store because of covid precautions. I called and the owner said they were actually closed because they had a positive covid case. She then went on to apologize and said she tried to contact me, which was a lie because she had my number and I received no texts or calls. I don't fault them for having to close due to covid but they needed to let me know, I took time in my schedule to drive here and it was very inconsiderate.
do not pay a deposit to this salon. i went in for a color consult and paid a 100 dollar deposit. the day before my appointment i went to my dermatologist who dis an unplanned biopsy of my ear. turns our i have cancer in the cartilage of my ear. not skin cancer, cancer. i called and gave 24 hours notice. i wilk be going through treatment for months now. they told me they would refund my deposit after getting extremely nasty. now they refuse to refund. they never stated it was non refundsble. they basically stole my money during my health crisis in the middle of this pandemic. at a minimum this is just bad business practice on every level.
This is the first salon I've been to since moving here and felt so perfect about everything when I left! I didn't feel weird or embarrassed asking for a price first like I have at other high end salons and there was no surprises at the end when I went to pay! Heather did amazing on my hair, I got their express keratin blowout, it's the best feeling I've ever had on my hair! I can't wait to go back for some color touch ups, haircuts, and more blowouts
Everyone was very nice and tje place was clean . I had full highlights and a cut , i was left to process too long while my stylist cut otjers hair and i knew it started burning at the back of my neck. Long story short while in florida 2 days later my hair broke off all over. Never allow anyone who is processing your hair and hasnt done your hair before leave you to do another persons hair.Took months to grow back.
