Sue Hyun is a kind lady and gave me a two-block cut that I was really satisfied with. Usually I end up leaving a haircut feeling a bit bummed and having to wait a few days for it to "look right" but was very happy with how it turned out. She is definitely skilled at Asian style haircuts. There was a slight language barrier, but if you show a picture that won't be a problem. Will be back for future visits.
Went in after seeing all the good reviews, she used scissors and a razor for 90% of the cut. The stores a little dated but hair cuts are excellent. Only charged $15 for a man's haircut that took 40 mins, I gave her a $20. Will come back again, great store for Asian americans.
When I started going to Sue 6 months ago, I had a very plain and unflattering cut. I was a bit worried because there's a language barrier and the salon itself doesn't look "professional" but she did an amazing job and I will never go to anyone else. All I did was show her two photos of layered short hair (or a wolf cut) and she gave it to me. I've spent 3 years going to different salons for this cut and never received it. I've taken my aunt here and she was skeptical but said it's the best haircut she'd ever received (she has long curly hair) I definitely recommend her. The cost was $20 for anyone curious.
She's still kinda cranky but a great hair cut and even better price! Love going to Sue.
