I have to give one star as the hidden cost not clearly stated on the price that posted inside the store. See the price that they list on the price board and the receipt that they charged on me. The price board stated clearly that full perm $63.75 (no where to show that is "start up" price) and the bottom stated that $10 added-on for length past shoulder. So I assumed that $63.75 for full perm is fixed and plus $10 for my hair length past shoulder. If the price is meant to be "start up", then the waxing and treatments price DOES show "start at" before the price but not before the full perm. They fooled me and told me that my perm is total $100. I asked why the price is different then the post, she said because of my hair length. I was very confused and embarrassing for the situation as I already sitting on the chair after she washed my hair. I asked "do you mean $100 TOTAL for everything?" I assumed that she was talking about after tax and tips and she answered "yes" so I thought that's fine. After done the hair, she charged me $100 and still asked me 20% tips for her!! Really?! What a embarrassing situation I have ever had in my entire life. (see the picture of receipt, perm-specialty w/cut $100, however, I did not have any hair cut today but only permed.) I'm very unhappy that I finally still tipped her $10. Be aware that they will water your bills and "force" to tip her. Better be smart and clear before sitting on their chair.

Asked that my hair be cut in long layers; after a few snips she says "oops I think I cut too much" .& then shrugged her shoulders When I looked in the mirror- the left side was noticeably longer than the right side. I made her stop... Total garbage. I'm so sick I wish I'd never stopped into this lOn the way home, I Purchased a bottle of "hair skin and nails" vitamins . March 6, 2018. Just an update, I was contacted (immediately)by Amber the district manager for the location I had visited. She took corrective measures with the problem I experienced at the Madison Heights location and I am satisfied with the earnest outcome

Absolutely the worst customer experience I've ever experienced. The lady who cut my hair was argumentative and did not care about her job whatsoever. Here's the story: I told her I wanted a faux hawk with short sides and back. Without asking any questions and disregarding the picture I showed her, she said: "this is easy." She took the hair clipper and buzzed my sides and back. I expected her to start touching up the top. To my surprise, she said, "I want to put product in your hair." When I pointed out uneven parts, she responded by saying "it's your head. The shape is odd." We argued back and forth about unevenness throughout my head. I ended up giving up and just walking out. This was the worst experience ever. Thinking back, it was almost comical -- she expected to finish my haircut in 3 minutes, argued that the imperfections from the haircut were due to my head shape, and yelled at me about my poor attitude. Was I getting Punk'd??

Worst customer service ever. Hands down. My husband came in for a haircut and we showed her a photo of what his usual hair looks like. First off, she barely looked at the photo and just asked for what number he wanted. Then she proceeded to just give him a 2 all on the bottom, barely used scissors, and then throw some product in and say it's done after 2 minutes. When we asked for her to make a few adjustments, the attitude began, she became impatient, and started arguing with us about how it will be our fault if she cuts it and we don't like it... We are paying for a professional service and this place is definitely not professional. Terrible haircut even with a photo as guidance, and plain out rude customer service. Do not come here.

The worst perms experience I've ever had. I made an appointment for 5 pm. When I arrived, the person who checked me in was not aware of my appointment and surprised. She said "you have an appointment?" I got there 20 minutes early but waited until 5:50 pm to be my turn. The stylists were not prepared for my arrival. When Suzy washed my hair, the water went into my ears. They put me to a long wait. *** This is my worst experience with Borics and I will not go there again.***
