My brother and I had gone here for a while, but our hairdresser became unprofessional and disrespectful. Not lgbtq friendly! I'm posting so others don't run into the same issue here and become uncomfortable and/or are spoken against here. The employee that we had issues with was Katie. Stay safe!
I have been meaning to write this review for quite awhile...I took my 3 boys to see Kari Meshefski back before school started. Kari was amazing at engaging the boys and asking them what they wanted their hair to look like, but also verifying with me to make sure I was ok with it. The boys felt included and I loved their haircuts. When we struggled with one of my boy's hair over the next couple weeks I took him back to see Kari, and she was able to fix the problems we had and give me tips on why that happened in the first place. She is very helpful and great at listening to our preferences and cutting hair accordingly. We will definitely go back to her again!
I have gone to Shockra since they opened and with Becky since I was little. I live their friendly environment and professional nature. If you don't like something, they will do their best to fix it.
Sara is the best! I had an idiot moment and dyed my hair dark from a box. She was nice enough to work her schedule to be able to get me in quickly. She expertly removed the offending dye and my hair is gorgeous and in decent condition. Sara is wonderful to talk with and makes you comfortable and at ease. The new location of the salon is spacious and in a great area. Totally love this place!
