SALON HALO River Market Columbus Park Hair extensions in Kansas City, MO

I don't even know how to start this review. I have been searching for a curly hair expert to get my haircut for at least four years. I won't go into the long search , I'll just say two years ago when the whole Covid thing started I was on a waiting list and had been on one for over a year to get my haircut in Cali, then in Vegas. I live in California. The people with the highest ratings here were not taking any new clients, so I thought well I travel, let me find somebody in one of the cities I go to.
I waited for over a year and then the gal from Las Vegas that had the level three certification stopped taking new clients.  Having lived in Kansas City for a long time, I do go back quite often. I did some research read the reviews on both Google and yelp and settled on salon halo. It took about two months before I can get my schedule to work with theirs. I was not disappointed. Tiffany did an amazing job. From the moment I made my appointment,  to their verification and confirmation of my appointment, the ease of finding parking, my first impression when I walked in , all of it. 10 stars!!

I've been going to this salon for curly hair cuts along with blond highlighting since August 2021. I moved here from Illinois and have been under so much stress and having Katie Hamlin as my hair stylist and colorist has been such a blessing! It's nice to be able to trust my stylist to give me a good cut and color along with also respecting my boundaries and just being kind. Katie has a very chill and mellow vibe which makes getting my haircut so relaxing. I've moved many times and had many hair stylists and she is hands down the best I've had. Thanks so much Katie! I will miss you now that I'm moving!

Heather is 100% your girl. I have seen her twice now and have been blown away each time. For 3 months I had bad experience after bad experience until I found Heather. I told her I just want to be a red head and bam she made it happen. Then this time I told her I needed to color my hair safely to help protect my curls and a trim. She knocked it out of the park. She is a perfectionist and a master of her craft. You need Heather in your life for sure.

Tuesday was my first time at Salon Halo. Such a cute shop located in Columbus Park. Heather Ehrhart did an amazing job on my hair. My boyfriend said my hair was the color of Cherry Coke, then he smiled. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do next time.

Súper terrible service it was my moms birthday and Amy completely made it terrible! She was late, super mean to us and definitely did not wanted to give us her service! She kept putting "buts" on everything we asked for. We ended up leaving with just a haircut which she cut so much hair out of my mom, without asking! She told us that her hair was terribly damage which I promise it isn't. She barely wanted to touch her hair. She talked to us like if we were nothing, it was just the worst experience ever! I am never coming back to this place again and I hope Abby learns to be professional and nice to her costumers. It wasn't worth our drive or the $60 dollars  we spent in such a poor service!
