Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in Kansas City, MO

I moved from St L to KC in May 2021. So I started looking for a hairdresser for cut & color every month. After a couple of try's at other shop, I decided to try here. My stylist was Brianna. She was friendly & helpful; we looked at swatches of hair colors, she picked out my color which I agreed to. Everything went well; one of the best head washes I have received! My cut also went very well. She put my hair color in the computer for future visits, too. I have received complements from strangers. Also, Wed. seniors get 10% off.
I recommend this location!!

I came to this location on 11/04/2021 in hopes of getting my hair touched up for an upcoming wedding. My stylist was Janie (?). I came in with slightly faded orange hair, just wanted some lightening blended in to my ends to make it look a little better. I was there for about 1 hour max... The end result made me want to cry. I am so embarassed to go anywhere with my hair looking like this. There is absolutely no blending in my hair, there's sharp lines everywhere (you can tell very clearly the difference between my natural color and the lightning that was added....and it's not a good distinction) To describe this a little better, it looks like a horrific ombre done by my 5 year old. I would have been better off doing this myself, at least I would have ATTEMPTED to blend the color in....  I am very upset that I haven't been able to get ahold of anybody at this establishment regarding my experience. Any time I ask for a manager, I'm told that they aren't there. When I finally did get ahold of somebody, I was told that they weren't able to do anything for me. I can't even fix this mistake myself without further damaging my hair. The bleach used on my ends, the amount, and the way it was used, has completely destroyed my hair and I am really ultimately looking to get my money back that I paid for this. ($86)  I have my receipt, I have photos of what my awful hair looks like, the works. Please get back to me ASAP so I can go elsewhere and get this disaster fixed. Thank you.

I came here to follow my stylist Lindsay. When she shaves the Gorilla I look human. Lindsay will make your eyebrow plural.

Service was good, the haircut was fine and they made my son feel comfortable. So overall they did well.

Not going back here, convenience be derned.  This is -not- the 1st time I've gotten sub-standard service at this location.

o The haircut only took about 5 min

o Stylist didn't bother to wipe any stray hair off me

o They didn't even offer me a -mirror- to check the work

o Stylist FORGOT to offer the hairwash with the cut, which is included in the price

...and you want to b---ch at me passive-aggressively about the TIP I gave you?  Really?  You didn't even deserve one, lady.

FAHGETabouddit.

At least the location on Vivian and North Oak has better standards - I will keep going out of my way to frequent that shop.  This one's not worth it.
