Chaz is a great hair stylist. He is very professional, but also friendly and laid-back. I've been his client for 6 or 7 years and I have always been happy with his services. Over the years, Chaz gave me several very different haircuts: super-short, super long, and everything in between. I loved each and every one of them. He knows how to make every length look interesting. He is very attentive and respectful of my needs and preferences (e.g. I am not great at styling my own hair and I never had an issue of "high-maintenance hair" with his cuts). Over the years I have spent long periods of time abroad but, every time I come back to Pittsburgh, I go back to Chaz and it is always easy and pleasant to reconnect. He offers all the perks of a high-end hair stylist without the pressures that often come with having one. He has changed different locations, but the level of the salon-experience has been consistently great. The current location of his business is, as the previous ones, stylish and clean with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. No stressed-out people running around, no rushing through your service or waiting ages for it. Finally, his prices are, in my view, very reasonable. As I said I am not a regular a Chaz's and there have been occasions in which I needed a service on a short notice and had to go elsewhere. Honestly, I have spent the same amount of money for a much lower quality service and overall experience. I full-heartedly recommend SALON BANG BANG.

I met Chaz several years ago when I bought a Groupon for the salon he was working at and I'm pretty sure it was fate as I've never looked back since. He totally changed my hair game! Chaz has helped me go platinum blond to dirty blonde and back to my natural color all while keeping my hair in impeccable shape. His new Salon in East Liberty is intimate and modern giving you 100% of his attention with the luxury of a high end salon. What I love about having Chaz cut & color my hair is that he gives me his honest opinion about cut/style (which you want b/c he's seriously cool,) and he's a perfectionist, in the best way, when it comes to cutting. You can truly tell how passionate he is about his profession! I also always trust any products Chaz suggests as he doesn't try to push me into buying anything - he's only going to suggest a product if he believes you'll really benefit from it. I honestly can't recommend Chaz's new salon enough! If you don't have a regular hairdresser, don't like your current one or are just bored with your hair, go make an appointment now! You won't regret it. :) He's one of the most talented & genuine people I've met in Pittsburgh.
