La Studio Nails & Spa in Pittsburgh, PA

Literally DONT come here. My cuticles are SO f'd up!! I came to this spot because it was recommended to me and the design that she had was very very detailed and pretty. However, my experience was completely different. The person that I had paid a deposit for and requested did not even end up doing my nails, the women who did the base work physically dug her nails into my cuticles(WITH NO GLOVES), and it hurts so bad, but she did not speak English and couldn't understand, and then, on top of that! The male designer, who did my nails refused to give me what I had even asked for in the first place !!! he insisted that his design was better, and would criticize the design that I had originally requested..... you could not pay me to come back here. The salon itself was beautiful. However, the vibe would never ever ever match the quality of service. I think I would rather chop my fingers off than go back here. I ended up paying $105 including the deposit. and if it could not get any worse, my nails looked like they were about a week and a half already overgrown when I left the damn salon that is so ridiculous!!!! should I have said something absolutely but at that point I was uncomfortable and just wanted to leave as I am writing this one of my nails has literally snapped in half!!!!! if it was possible I would give this place a zero, but unfortunately yelp does not work like that

came in to get my eye brows cleaned up instead of her saying she didn't know how she basically played on my face making my eyebrows look the complete worse ever. I told her I was unhappy with how they turned out and her and the male employee gave me attitude. I asked them when would the salon owner be in and they ignored me.

If you are comfortable leaving a manicure with your nails looking bad, and bleeding, then the spot is the place for you. I had high hopes because they were able to get me in quickly, and it seemed clean enough, but the service is very poor quality.

This place does not care about customers at all .When they mess up they simply say don't come back. Don't give your money to this racist business that don't clean their equipment. I caught them using racial slurs in their native language that I know as well.

I was referred to LA Studio Nails & Spa by a friend as I was looking for a new nail salon. The salon was extremely clean and decorated very cute. I loved that they were very up to date with technology as you can check-in on an iPad, accept all major credit cards, and accepts Venmo for tips. That is always appealing to the younger generations as many of us do not carry cash. I got a traditional pedicure with gel polish so it will last while I am at the beach. The pedicure was relaxing and not too quick. I also got a traditional manicure with regular polish as I am trying to keep my nail beds as healthy as possible. I was not as impressed with the manicure as there was no hot towels, massages, etc outside of cleaning up my cuticles and painting them. I could do that at home but if I am paying for it, I enjoy to be a little pampered as well as it's my form of self care. I also included a photo where the polish on my manicure was not evenly distributed causing a very streaky looking paint job. This was on multiple fingers and I did not notice until the clear coat was on. I did enjoy the fast drying UV lights for the manicure as some salons have had me use small motorized fans or even air dry. That was a huge plus. Overall, my experience was very average. I will keep searching for the nail salon that I will continue returning to.
