I love La la's!!! I hadn't found a nail salon that I liked since I moved back to Pittsburgh...until now Julia took care of me She was amazing!!! My nails are perfect It's a fun and friendly atmosphere Beautiful decor Great music Good shows on tv If you want fabulous nails I highly recommend!!!!!
First, you have to put a deposit down which should have been my first warning. If your clientele is so unpredictable you have to do that, probably not a good place. Very clean, all acrylic / no traditional polish, interesting decor. The woman who did my nails made it crystal clear that I did not belong in their clique - talking to everyone in the salon, didn't waste her time asking how I like my nails and decided how they'd be shaped. would deeply sigh if I asked her anything. As it was my first time, said let's have some fun with my nails since I don't have anything coming up, event wise. She put stickers on my nails that look like the reward stickers I give to preschoolers. I get my nails done for me, not to be made to feel like I interrupted their good time and didn't take the cue to leave.
I have been interested in this salon for a while but haven't yet had the chance to stop by. A friend shared a photo of nails she got done with Jennifer today, and unfortunately I don't know if I will try stopping by in the future. She was pretty unhappy with her results and the gels on natural nail looked visibly sloppy. This is only to speak to gel on natural nail, so I can't speak to their other services. However, at $80 for this service I would not personally recommend it.
Blaring loud music videos on a big screen were annoying. But the worst part was my gel manicure lasted less than a week. I won't be back.
