Nathalie's Hair Braiding in Leesburg, VA

Went early to consult with my braider to ensure she understood what I was looking for because I am particular. I've been wearing braids as a protective style forever. Especially, since my hair is natural a chemical free. It's so much easier to workout in protective styles. I normally wash, blowout, and flat iron my hair ever week in half to two weeks. I washed and blowed my hair out and confirmed our appointment as it started to snow on the day of our meeting. I texted early that morning to see if we were still on with the snow and all but got no response. Finally, I called and got a confirmation. I arrived a few mins late due to the late confirmation. I didn't want to brave the snow for nothing. We got started right away. She was fairly quick. These are things I noted. I asked during consultation could my twist be like kinky twists in that they were twisted from start to end and she said yes. The story was different when we started. She said that would pull my hair more, but I didn't believe that. I've had both micro twist or Senegalese twist with no problem and kinky twist multiple times. I'm pretty particular about braider because they can cause permanent damage to your hair and or scalp. I texted to let her know that I lost a few twist which ultimately equates to the whole back of my head. She offered to reinstall. After thinking about the fact that I provided the hair which wasn't cheap. I decided to ask for a partial refund equivalent to the amount of time this style lasted. She quickly said she doesn't give refunds. I have since chopped this up to a loss and will not return. Additionally, it wasn't what I wanted, but I was willing to go with it as long as it lasted a month. It didn't last a week, constantly shedded, and still caused hair loss. This hair is so light and I only wanted twist. She braid each twist to start which automatically looks bad to me as they're not uniformed. I also have a small spot of hair loss which is ver unfortunate. Luckily I have a fairly thick head of hair. I would not recommend this braiding sa
