Eunoia Nail & Spa in Leesburg, VA

Payed 85 dollars for something I didn't ask for. I showed a reference picture and they look nothing like it. they were supposed to be stilettos, but they are extremely dull and crooked. they were also supposed to be an hombre, but they are not blended at all. had to tell the guy to redo at least 4 of them and still turned out bad. Will never be going back

Not one for writing reviews, but the attitude of Thomas the manicurist was deplorable. This was my first visit to Eunoia nail salon which means "good will, " but it was anything but... Thomas was 30mins late. (he did not explain or apologize).... He made little eye contact....was confrontational and negative. I provided a 2 star rating because he delivered on the manicure, but it was not worth the antagonism felt in such a place of business. I will never return there!

I wanted my eyebrows waxed. I was trying this place as a new customer because the other salon I usually go had really ruined my eyebrows and I had been growing them out to make it better before having them waxed again. I was very clear that I wanted them thicker and I wanted them the same width all the way across...not thicker towards your eye and then thinner at the outer edge. I said it more than once and tries to explain to make sure. She seemed to understand and so we started. After waxing, she was tweezing and tweezing and tweezing and I said something about how much she was taking off and she replied " a lot of hair". And I said again...yes I want them thicker. She appeared to finish up and then she put the mirror up for me to see. They were the thinnest I have ever had in my life! And they weren't just really thin, they were the thick towards your eye and then really thin on the outer edge...very exactly what I had said I do not like. Thin eyebrows don't look good on my face and I had finally gotten them back to where I could wax them again from the other person who ruined them :( I was so hurt and so I asked her and tried to understand what had happened. She flat out said that the way I wanted them isn't correct. "Eyebrows aren't supposed to be all the same width". They are supposed to have the shape she gave me. I said "but I didn't want that. I wanted this". I told you before we started. And she said it again..you can't have all thick. You wanted thinner. Yes, thinner than they were because I had been growing them out (which I had also told her before we started). Nope...that's not how eyebrows are supposed to look she said again. At that point I gave up. I was so upset and just numb and I thought what was the point of arguing because I can't get my eyebrows back :( As we w were walking out of the room I said one more time why she ignored what the customer wanted and did things the way she wanted them? She didn't reply. I said again that she should do it the way the customer wants even if she doesn't agree with the customer...it's not her body or her decision. She said again "that's not how eyebrows are supposed to be shaped". If you want your fingernails blue, and she disagrees, you may end up with red because nails aren't supposed to be blue certainly don't go there for eyebrows!

My daughter and I did a walk in appointment at Eunioa Nail and Spa on May 21st, 2022. The atmosphere was pleasant and the people are nice. This was my first time in this nail salon and my first time getting more than a regular manicure or a gel manicure. I told the nail technician that my daughter wanted a gel manicure and gel pedicure and I wanted gel nails and a regular pedicure. My daughter's nails came out nice, my nails also looked nice but when the technician started my nails he was about to glue tips on and I reiterated that I didn't want acrylic nails and eventhough he didn't put on the tips, I learned from talking to a friend about the experience of how the technician did my nails that he gave me acrylic nails still and charged me for gel. The technician use a powder to create the nails. I didn't know it should have looked like a paste from the beginning and not just when he added liquid from the brush to the powder. I didn't know any difference because I have never had it done. My nails don't look bad, I just wish I had gotten what I requested and paid for.

It was so bad I'd give it a 0, but I can't so I'll give it a 1. I asked for valentines nails and got this... 3 days later it was chipping so bad, to the point where I was embarrassed. I went back to hopefully have them fixed and I asked for my natural nails to not be cut because eventually I wanted only acrylic over my naturals and Tom kept trying to tell me it's not worth it and kept trying to convince me that he HAD to cut them. IT IS MY CHOICE. Anyway, they wanted to charge me to get it fixed which I wasn't going to pay for their mistakes... so he told me let me take them off for you and then you can go on your way.... There was no nail prep, he seriously was just cutting off the acrylics without soaking or anything. It was so painful and on top of it... he told me there's a cost to having them removed. 10/10 don't recommend.
