Radiance Salon & Medi-Spa in Leesburg, VA

I switched over to this salon after a few years of going to another one before, in hopes of growing my hair and improving its health. I have seen an increase in health but regarding the color, I rarely get what I ask for and am starting to become a little frustrated with how hard it is to get across to the stylists what I keep asking for.

Lets just put it this way, I drive 2 hrs to specifically see Theresa! She is a GOD SEND. I can't imagine anyone else doing my extentions/color! What amazing TALENT!

Every visit to Radiance is a joy! I have been seeing Theresa Hastings for 2 years now and I can't imagine anyone else being my hair guru. She is unbelievably knowledgeable, kind and tells it how it is. She really listens and provides results. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you are a blonde!!

Fantastic customer service!! Had to wait a bit for my appointment due to my stylist having a car issue, but the front desk staff was AMAZING. Made sure i had mimosas, tea, water and even gave me a free gift for my patience. Stylist also did a great job with partial highlights and cut. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends. Service here is a class act!

I needed to have my hair trimmed and shaped and brought a picture to show the stylist what it was I wanted done. Made the mistake of showing a different picture of how else I knew I could style it with a barrel roller. Ended up with the hair on the back of my hair being trimmed off and layered as I'd wanted because it's really thick, hot and heavy on my scalp and neck. My bangs were trimmed so they would have some lift when styled. The rest of my head was left untouched so the frizzed ends were still very much there after I'd washed my hair and let it dry naturally. A haircut here is $65.00, I agreed to a "10 minute cold conditioner" for $30 which made no difference on my hair after the fact, as a good quality deep conditioning includes a headwrap and time under a dryer so the hair shafts open up to absorb the formula, so that was a waste of money. Personality wise the staff was pleasant, but it was a surprise to have the front desk clerk ask for the stylist's tip as I was settling the bill. Not knowing how little actual work was actually done in the shortening I'd asked for because the styling mimicked the picture I'd used as a reference I tipped 20%. After the fact for the stylist Lauren, it was very easy money for very little actual work done. As a "walk-in" because the salon I'd booked at was closed when I arrived, I waited 45 minutes for the appointment. What inspired me to stop there was the mature lady who was entering the doorway with a full head of beautiful silver hair. Turned out she was there for a trim with a different stylist and left looking great. Wish I'd had that stylist too so I wasn't writing a reluctant Yelp review about really poor service carried out with such big smiles.
